Manasota Key, top floor Bayfront condo in El Galeon East, a popular Gulf to Bay complex. This 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom condo has incredible expansive views of Lemon Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway and a gorgeous beach access directly across the street. Only steps away to the conveniently located heated community pool. This spacious open floor plan unit is tastefully furnished, amenities include deep-water community docks, a fishing pier, heated pools, laundry facilities, a grilling area, wi-fi service, and plenty of beautiful white, sandy beaches. Under ½ mile to several restaurants with live entertainment, fresh dishes, and refreshing drinks! 1.5 miles to trendy beach shops and boat and jet ski rentals. Stump Pass State Park is a bike ride away where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks and go on a guided tour!

We visited Manasota Key in April of 2015, loved every minute of our stay! Decided to look at condos and bought one in one of the coolest places on the island. Our condo is an end unit that overlooks Lemon Bay, and when standing on the lanai look left, you can see the Gulf! We have the sunrise and the sunset on my lanai balcony! We bought my condo to share with others, and also enjoy visiting. We feel like we're at home every time we are in El Galeon East #201

This view from the balcony is so picturesque with sailboats docked in the distance, dophins swimming by, manatees poking their noses out of the water, blue herons and pelicans landing on the dock... one can sit here all day, every day.

Clean and comfortable with a great water view

My wife and I love the laid-back, "Old Florida" vibe about Manasota Key. As mentioned in other reviews, you can walk to several bars and restaurants and there is a convenience store nearby. This unit is small and basic, but clean and comfortable. The best part is the panoramic view of the inland waterway from the private balcony. The beautiful beach is just steps away across the street and there's a quiet, heated pool beside the parking lot. Teresa was a terrific host and went out of her way to ensure an enjoyable stay. We're going back next year.

Great water location!

If you love water, you will like this location! Beautiful views off the deck and a minute to the Gulf directly across the street - with sharks teeth galore! The pool is just steps away as well. The condo could use some updating and repair, but it was clean and a good size space for 2 people. The mornings were peaceful with coffee on the deck, however dinner and evenings on the deck were always accompanied by the loud live music from the restaurants right across the bay till about 10 - 10:30 at night. Not just on the weekends, but every night. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is an active area on the Key. If you like the night life - it is all within walking distance. Owner had quick communication and nice to work with. Boating and water activities can be rented within walking distance and it was quick easy on / easy off to get groceries etc. We enjoyed our week in the Florida sun!

Had a great time at El Galeon. Condo was sufficient. Great view of Lemon Bay. Pool was clean and refreshing. Walked the beach in the morning and walked to dinner at night. Will go again.

Fabulous Stay on the Bay!

We could not have asked for a better value. I like that it is an end unit. This little gem had it all. Convenient location, clean, comfortable, well stocked and one of the best views on the bay.

I loved our stay in Manasota Key. The restaurants and bars all had decent food, and we had a lot of fun at the bars. Don't miss the drum circle at the public beach on Sunday evenings. I'm glad I got to experience the sounds and warmth of the many different people there.

Can't wait to get back to enjoy it all again.

Beautiful setting on Lemon Bay.

This is an end unit with great unobstructed view of Lemon Bay from the living area and covered balcony. We enjoyed watching dolphins, birds, and boats from the balcony. It's a quiet and laid-back area with Stump Pass Park, several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Fishing docks are right there, and the gulf beach is across the street. The unit was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The decor is a bit out of date but comfortable. It was the right size for my husband and me.

Needs some TLC

VRBO ad says king bed...

Its NOT a King bed it's two twins pushed together with really old mattresses. We did not sleep much. The condo was very outdated, plus TV remotes were not working, nor were bedroom lights. I had to clean patio furniture in order to sit outside. I would not recommend this condo for a relaxing vacation.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry for any inconveniences and have addressed each of your issues so that any future stay will be more than enjoyable. There is a new smart tv in the living room, so remote will work fine! For the bedroom, we are in the process of ordering a new king mattress; the bedroom track lighting's switch is located on the outlet that is under the windows; bedroom lamp on dresser goes on by switch at the entrance door; bedside lamps turn on manually. As far as the outside patio furniture, we will be even more diligent on the upkeep as the furniture is exposed to the elements. Sincerely, Brendan and Teresa

TMD Enterprise and Tenant agree as follows: Tenant is at least twenty-five (25) years of age (an “adult”) and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved dates. In addition to Tenant, other authorized occupants may be family members or friends of Tenant. Should any unauthorized persons occupy or use the Premises, Tenant shall vacate the premises immediately without any refund. No key code will be given to anyone who is not an adult.
May be placed in advance, but are subject to the rates in effect at the time said reservations are placed. The property will be ready for occupancy at 3:00 PM eastern standard time on the beginning date of the lease and must be vacated by 10:00 AM eastern standard time on the ending date of the lease. A late checkout fee of $50 may be assessed if Check-Out time is exceeded. Reservations will be made official when rental agreement and payment are received.
A deposit totaling 50% of the agreed upon Total Amount is due with acceptance of rental agreement. If reservation is being made within 60 days of arrival date; then full payment is required now. Payment of deposit shall be deemed as acceptance of this rental agreement. Deposit must be made using a visa or mastercard credit card.
Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival date. Payment must be made by major credit card. Personal checks will be accepted upon approval; if funds are not credited within seven days booking may be cancelled. If damage is present when tenant checks in, owner must be notified in writing (email: teresa.dicampli@foxroach.com) or call 484.995.6895, within 24 hours of arrival.
Should you need to cancel your reservation with more than 60 days notice prior to the arrival date, a cancellation fee of $200 will be charged. All other funds will be refunded in the manner they were received.
