Recommend couple in king bed and third person maximum in living room on queen air mattress. Due to furnishings of king and air mattress, 800 sq. ft. plus large balcony and one bathroom, the home is comfortably provisioned for three person maximum.

Relaxation on Florida's Forgotten Coast...

We never realized that there was a 'forgotten coast' in Florida! Beach Bungalow was located only steps from the beautiful gulf waters, in the quiet little village of St. James. The unit was clean inside and out and the entire condo, as a whole, was lovely. Of special interest was the terrific 500' private fishing pier where we took great pics of local wildlife and sunrises, only a few feet from our unit. Parking was wonderful and reserved by unit, under cover. There were many options for dining out on fresh seafood within pleasant driving distance and we were charmed by the nearby town of Apalachicola and its variety of dining options and shops. There are no boardwalks, high-rises or crowds so this is the perfect serene environment for folks needing a quiet get-away. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the lack of an area to enjoy the ocean waters near the unit. This area of the gulf is located along the large ocean grass beds, which run right up to shore, making the water dark and full of bits of debris. It is a bit of a drive to a nice beach, but if you want a peaceful setting and opportunities for great pics of birds and wildlife, then this is the place for you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! We were looking for a few days of quiet and a relaxing time and this condo delivered!! The condo had everything you could need, and the view of the Gulf was beautiful! We were able to visit nearby family, and we drove to nearby St. George Island which was gorgeous!! Thank you for accepting our reservation, and I'm sure we will consider this place again when visiting in that area!!
