At Seahorse Landing Sunsets expect breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico from your luxury two bedroom condominium. Spectacular sunsets are common place from your condo balcony. It comes with a large private balcony, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 baths, washer/dryer and free WIFI. All you need to bring is your suitcase, groceries and an island state of mind.
No cleaning fee means an overall less expensive rate to you! Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is on site 7 days a week to assist you. No up-front fees and a minimal cancellation notice takes the worry out of unforeseen events. Please call 877-514-5096 or 352-543-5860 to make reservations.
Facing southwest across the gulf on the quiet side of the island, you get the best sunsets and the best night views of the starry skies. So dark at night, there are too many stars to make out the constellations. Twice in ten years with the gulf calm and like glass, I’ve seen the Milky Way reflected in the water.
Your condo comprises the whole floor of the building. No walking out on your deck with someone else next to you. The master bedroom with a king size bed has its own en suite bathroom with tub/shower. The guest bedroom with a queen size bed has its own bath with shower. Both have easy access to the living and kitchen/dining areas. The kitchen has every appliance and cooking utensil you will need. No need to bring anything.
The 30 foot wide balcony comes furnished with two adirondack chairs and two rockers with cocktail tables. It overlooks the 100 foot pier with floating dock and fish cleaning station. Off to your right, also on the gulf, are the 30x20 foot swimming pool and 10 foot diameter in-ground Jacuzzi. All of these are there for you to use.
It’s a short walk to all the fabulous restaurants and shops of Cedar Key. It’s also a short drive to see the manatees at Manatee Springs and Homosassa Springs and well as hiking and birding along the Suwanee River. The onsite management will gladly help with info about anything you might want, from dining or kayak rentals to fishing guides.
Someone who was lucky to stumble on Cedar Key several years ago. I actually live on Amelia Island in NE Florida. When it gets to busy, I disappear to Cedar Key.
Jim Mady purchased this condo in 2001
My wife was an avid amateur astronomer and Cedar Key has some of the best dark skies around. Several northerners come every February for a star party. Add to that the great restaurants and seafood, boating, fishing and just relaxing...who wouldn't love it.
If you've been to Cedar Key, you understand the uniqueness of this side of the island. Most rentals are on the east side of town with no sunset views but lots of noise. Here it's quiet, the views are great, and its an easy walk to everything.
