The home is a total 2015 remodel. It has 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms and is fully furnished. A bonus: a newly remodeled detached redwood office for your personal enjoyment or professional use. If you use as a home office, a portion of your rent may be deductible. Printer, TV and wine refrigerator are provided. Off street parking in an oversized 2+ garage plus covered carport are also provided.Wake with a cup of Keurig coffee, Bluetooth speaker and enjoy this tree lined walkable neighborhood. We jog in the park almost daily.

The single family home is three blocks away from Denver's premier Washington Park with its 162 acres. Washington Park is the neighborhood magnet for walking, running and biking as well as a variety of other community activities. It also houses an indoor, public exercise facility open year round.
Your stay is an easy walk to the park, library, restaurants, public transportation and shopping on Olde South Gaylord as well as being close to Cherry Creek Mall's merchants. Denver University is also close-by. We should warn all prospective tenants that the Bonnie Brae ice cream parlor is habit forming. It's a few blocks from High Street. This lodging is as good as it gets.

We took almost two years to design and remodel this home. It is situated in one of Denver's most desirable neighborhoods, East Washington Park. We attended to every detail on the assumption that we would be personally occupying the home but our plans have changed for the moment. Both of us were born and raised in the Midwest, me on a farm in Iowa and my husband in Omaha, Nebraska. We raised our three [now grown] daughters in Denver. We use Washington Park almost daily. It is a wonderful venue for wellness with its lakes, running path, bike lane, public fitness center and community activities. It is the darling of Denver's city park system.

We were fortunate to acquire this home in that buyers compete heavily for homes in the East Washington Park area. This neighborhood has a limited inventory of homes to purchase and even fewer to rent. Given its location, immediate proximity to Washington Park, restaurants, library and other shopping, our past guests have found it to be the perfect venue for a temporary residence.
For travelers seeking a venue that delivers a serene setting while providing immediate access to the park, shopping, restaurants, library, exercise facilities, university, hassle-free parking, the friendliest of neighborhoods and transportation, this is the place. It is a highly walkable venue. Dining area can seat eight. Cable and Internet. Sound deadening insulation throughout. The detached redwood office is a working retreat. Covered patio. When in season, fresh tomatoes, blueberries and basil greet you. This is a home to which you'll want to return.
My wife and I had to be with 30 min. from the Medical campus of the University of Colorado due to a stem cell transplant due to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. we found this charming home on line through VRBO. The owner James Abrams answered questions quickly on line, we drove by and then confirmed our 6 week stay. Very nicely renovated home in a very nice and quiet area. Shopping in Cherry Creek is very special. Small craft beer plus grills abound. King Soopers and Safeway are close. A real gem...love walking in Washington Park, don't overlook this one.
I rented house for my mother who was needing medical treatment for a rare tumor. The house was perfect. The location was ideal, close to many conveniences, and a very safe neighborhood. Everything was updated and owner very accommodating. A lot of family came out off and on during her several week stay and everyone had there own space. Very clean and garage nice with snowy weather. We did a lot of exploring and easy to get around. Very close to Gaylord street with many cute boutiques and restaurants. Easy access to interstates.
We had a lovely stay at this beautifully renovated home in the heart of Wash Park. The home is so incredibly cozy and updated so nicely. We had the pleasure of walking to Wash Park often and enjoying all the convenient amenities very close by (restaurants, bike shop, ice cream, nail salon etc,). And, the landlord was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive in assisting with any issues that popped up with the home! We will truly miss this home and living in the desirable Wash Park neighborhood!!!
What a great time we had in Denver! This beautiful home was perfect for my husband and me and my two adult children. It was a comfortable, quiet place where we all had our own space to sprawl out. It was centrally located which made it convenient to go anywhere in the city.
We enjoyed our first afternoon just sitting on the front porch, and in the evening we ate out on the patio in the back yard. This house had everything we needed.
Jim, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the basket of wine and goodies waiting for us when we arrived.
We will definitely be returning to Denver in the future and hopefully to this gem of a home.
This is an excellent home with many comfortable, upscale features. The kitchen is top notch and has all the dishes, pots/pans and utensils you could need. The appliances are brand new and luxurious, especially the nice gas stove and ultra quiet dishwasher.
Master bedroom is quiet, cool and comfortable with his and hers closets. Loved the shower in the master bath since it had an adjustable spray head and ideal pressure.
The other bedroom upstairs had a comfy queen bed and nice closet. There's another bathroom there in the hall right outside that bedroom which was useful for our kids.
The basement is finished with a big fold out queen bed couch and a TV. Our five yr old loved having his own little room down there where it was cool and quiet. Nice new laundry machines also in the basement in a seperate, well lit, clean, easy to use room. And there's a full bathroom with a really cool sink and great shower.
The living room upstairs has a couple of small loveseat type couches and a flat screen TV. Also a good sized dining room table. We were out on the big front porch most of the time in the evenings, waving at the neighbors and enjoying the Denver weather.
Also there's a small but neat back garden with a good sized patio table. The home owners even planted tomatos, basil and strawberries back there for guests to enjoy! A really unique, fun feature to the house. Out back there's also a garage and a car port, accesible through an alleyway. Or, parking out front is easy too.
The Wash Park area makes a fabulous home base for visiting Denver. You can get down town via car in about 20-30 mins, taking either busy I-25 or other more relaxing routes. We rode the bus down town twice, it took about an hour each time with one transfer. Also the light rail has a stop near Wash Park at Louisiana and Pearl but this is a 30-40 minute walk from the house. And be forewarned - the light rail station is right next to I-25 so it's EXTREMELY hot and loud while you are waiting for the train. Try to time it so you are not at the station very long!
There are good options for groceries, food and drinks right near the house - walkable or short drive. Bonnie Brae ice cream is a short stroll away and you simply MUST visit there, but expect big crowds on nice nights.
Overall this is a fantastic house in a wonderful neighborhood with all the fixings and furnishings you could need. Also we truly enjoyed meeting the nice, friendly owners. Highly recommended!

Near University of Denver. Highly walkable neighborhood. Bike rental station within walking distance. Carmine's on Penn is a favorite restaurant venue of ours. 10 minutes from the property. The Bonnie Brae snd South Gaylord areas are nice strolls. We love the Bonnie Brae ice cream shop. Be prepared for a wait. RTD train is 2+ miles from property. By car, travelers access the Denver Botanical Gardens, Anschutz Medical Center, Denver's "Lo Do" (Lower Downtown ) nightlife, restaurants and shops in Cherry Creek, South Pearl, Denver Convention Center, Pepsi Center, Denver Performing Arts complex - "The Ellie" and the Buell Theater, Coors Field, Denver Aquarium, Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Cheesman Park, Elitch Gardens Amusement Park, Denver Zoo, Rocky Mountain Wildlife Preserve, Wild Animal Sanctuary, Denvet Art Musem, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, IMAX theater, Forney Museum of Transportation (for railroad buffs), Molly Brown House Museum, Butterfly Pavillion (a rather outstanding attraction for kids and adults alike), Wings Over the Rockies Aviation Museum, History Colorado Museum, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival (July), Colorado State Capitol, Denver's many golf courses and parks, Highline Canal bike trails, mountain biking, winter sports, mountain rafting, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching and more.
