Beautifully furnished cottage offers a sweet and peaceful getaway for those who need some time off the grid. Situated on owner's park-like estate, there are numerous trails and community areas for sitting back and breathing in the beauty of nature and listening to the babble of nearby Indian Creek.

This lovely cottage melts away stress upon entry with comfortable sitting areas, gas stove, fireplace with porcelain heater, cute kitchen for preparing meals, and comfy queen bed in the bedroom. Couch in living room pulls out to provide extra sleeping option with additional feather top mattress and the owner even provides a popup tent and two sleeping bags if the kids want to bunk outside. The back deck has table and chairs with propane BBQ, large yard for playing and the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows around the campfire. Explore the creek and many trails to experience the sights, smells and feel of the Olympic Peninsula without ever having to leave the property.

Located just 8 miles west of the town of Port Angeles for groceries, movies, shopping, and wonderful local restaurants and only 10 miles from Lake Crescent for hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking and boating adventures. Sol Duc HotSprings and the Hoh Rain Forest, and many waterfall trails are just beyond for day trip adventures.

This is a non-smoking, family friendly property. The neighboring "Elwha Place" can be rented together with the Cottage for larger parties. See VRBO #721969 for rates and availability. Notes:
Sleeper sofa in Living Room for extra guests. Easy to use pop up tent and two sleeping bags are provided for guests to sleep outside at perfect campsite setting. Located just 8 miles west of Port Angeles. Park entrances at Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent and Sol Duc Hotsprings all within a 45 minute drive. West Coast Beaches and Hoh Rainforest within a 2 hour drive away. Rent kayaks at Lake Crescent or hike to Marymere Falls one day and the next day soak in the Hot Springs at Sol Duc and hike the one mile trail to Sol Duc Falls, a spectacular double waterfall. Lots to do and discover on the Peninsula.

Great location for Olympia National Park

This small home is a great location for several of the entrances and attractions in Olympia National Park.

The home is pretty basic, not 'high-end", however it fit our need for privacy and location. The kitchen is well-stocked. The towels are nice. There is no cable TV (or antennae TV). The unit has both VCR and DVD players, but only a handful of movies. There is no WiFi. There are lots of books and several games. Large washer and dryer.

There is a beautiful creek behind the unit, with a creek-side trail for hiking. We only followed the trail for 50 yards, not sure how far it goes.

FYI - At your departure, you will be asked to start a load of used towels and to remove all trash to the outside dumpster.

This property is perfectly located for taking advantage of the numerous hiking trails and nearby Lake Crescent for kayaking and swimming. Sol Duc Hotsprings Resort is less than an hour away for enjoying the outdoor pure mineral hot pools.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to your arrival date will result in a loss equal to the advance deposit payment unless we can re-book for your exact reservation dates. If exact reservation dates are re-booked, we will refund you the deposit payment minus a $ 150.00 cancellation fee and non-refundable 3% processing fee.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date except for the Cleaning Fee. Your dates have been held exclusively for you, meaning that we were turning other inquiries away, and we are obligated to pay the homeowner for your confirmed reservation. That is why we highly encourage you to purchase separate travel insurance for any unforeseen events beyond your control that may affect your travel plans. On the VRBO advertising site we have numerous vacation rentals that we manage.
All check-ins for balances paid, home locations and Keys will be issued upon arrival at our office located directly behind the Sequim Visitor Center on Washington St at 61 N Rhodefer Rd, Sequim WA.
A current identification (Photo id) will be required at check in. Rental agreements will be signed and issued as well as any supporting documents when required.
Locations of the homes will not be provided beforehand due to our ongoing security and privacy policy.
All keys are to returned to this office upon departing our area at the end of your visit.

A 50% deposit of the total reservation which includes the 3% non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking. All bookings must be secured with a Visa/MasterCard. All remaining funds are due at the time of check in. Reservations can be made by contacting Brigadoon Vacation Rentals by email or phone.
