Welcome to Villa Paros, a private home nestled in the hills surrounding Peyia, a traditional Cypriot village only 10km from Paphos and overlooking the near-by popular village resort of Coral Bay. Villa Paros is a newly completed detached villa offering accommodation on two levels with additional outdoor living space comprising a roof terrace and private pool terrace. All four floor levels have unrivalled panoramic views across the surrounding countryside to the Mediterranean Sea. The main living accommodation comprises two levels with Air-Con units fitted throughout. ''We loved the villa. It is in a beautiful location up the hill with the most amazing views, the layout and furniture was lovely, the beds comfortable and all amenities were in good working order. The pool was great and we had so much fun in the pool and It was difficult to get my daughter out of it, even when she went to the waterpark on her return she was straight in the pool. The "Beautiful", view from the roof terrace is amazing especially at night time with all the lights across Peyia and Coral Bay. We enjoyed both Coral Bay and Latchi Harbour so this villas is in a good position for both sides of the island. Philoppos is a great shop for all your food and drinks and just a couple of minutes away and just down the road they have there bigger supermarket which was all easy to drive to and access.
We drove and used taxies to go down to Coral Bay in the evening it was easy to organise taxi's and very easy to park car down in the strip. The bus service is fantastic (cheap, air-conditioned and goes every 15 mins), used the bus to go to Aphrodite waterpark and paphos harbour.
We loved everything in Cyprus, but here is a few trips/restaurants we loved - Top 5:
1. George's Fun Bus - A great day and completely different to what you would expect from a day trip!! George is a Character and you will meet like minded people on the trip (we found a family who we went on a couple more day trips with).
2. Latchi Harbour and beaches for swimming - lovely boat trip to Blue Lagoon amazing water it is soooo clear.
3. Aprhodite waterpark
4. Coral bay beaches are fantastic!, every beach we went to gave us a different adventure - great waves!!
5. We enjoyed Kikkos bar and our best meals were in the restaurant Sirian.
Just want to add 1 more to my list - Andy's Taxis - the transport provided to and from the airport was second to none, Andy is like a breath of fresh air! He made you feel so welcome from the moment he meets you on arrival to when he picks you up (will definitely take Andy up on his offer of driving us round the island on our next visit).
Absolutely Brilliant - the service I received from you was very prompt and professional - I cannot say enough that the service I received from you was PERFECT! I did not worry one bit through the whole process of booking with you. I will HIGHLY recommend your service and the property/transport you provided was top class.
The village of Peyia is one of the most picturesque and popular villages in the area. It is spread over a large area with the village centre (1km away/15 minute walk) having many good amenities including bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and a bank (to name but a few). Only a 5 minute drive away is the famous Coral Bay resort with its Sandy beach for all the family as well as its more extensive selection of nightlife and daytime activities.
Things to do in the Peyia area include many watersports on the beach at Coral Bay, diving, Paphos Bird and Animal Park, horse riding, visiting the protected Akamas Peninsula and Lara Beach Nature Reserve (famous for turtles), hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, the Sea Caves and Agios Georgios area, sailing and many more.
From Peyia the attractions in Paphos and renowned Paphos Aphrodite Water Park are also easily accessible, as are numerous archaeological ruins in Paphos such as the Tombs of the Kings and Paphos Archaeological Park.
If you want to get out and explore Cyprus' fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas Peninsula, Polis, Latchi or even the Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations.Troodos is the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!
Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima. With its narrow streets, hustle and bustle, covered market and typically Cypriot atmosphere, it is well worth a visit. As a consequence, Paphos is on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage list.
