Barbeque grill in backyard for outdoor cooking on warm summer nights. Great place, fun town.

Nice Home

Nice roomy house that can sleep up to six people. Beds pretty comfortable. Bathrooms nice size. Lots of windows. Nice backyard with fence. Has hog wire around the bottom of fence to help keep your dog in. Did not take my dog, but you are allowed to and there is even a dog house. Pretty clean. Large TV and wifi. Mostly hardwood floors with vinyl in kitchen and baths. It does not have updated details, but if you are looking for serviceable and practical this place gives you what you need for a reasonable price. Would stay here again for sure.

Inconvenience

Discovered while booking the cabin that the owner would only take checks in paymen for our stay. Credit card was fine for payment of taxes and fees, but owner didn't wish to pay bank charges for CC payments. This would not have been a problem had we not discovered a plumbing issue with the shower on arrival. It took four days of a seven day stay to get the shower working in the master bath. Pretty poor customer service.

Owner's Response: The plumbing issue was unfortunate and I worked with a plumber to resolve as quickly as possible. Not many down sides to living in rural area but this is one of those times where needing a part 60 miles away was definitely an inconvenience and I would be happy to provide a credit towards future stay. This property now accepts credit cards as well so hopefully we have those kinks worked out!

Enjoyed this Property Immensly

This Cabin is EXTREMELY quaint and well maintained. The owner has put a ton of money in upgrading this beautiful little Cabin: water heater, plumbing, heating, Direct TV. Super close to town and a truly cost effective for what is being offered in the area. Very Quiet area. Sandi, Property Mgr, was great/easy to work with. Spacious without overwhelming, if you are thinking about a Cozy Cabin vs. a Hotel, expensive over the top Lodge this is it!!!!
