High specification luxury apartment within a renovated victorian listed building

Vellum Court is a stunning luxury holiday apartment within a Grade II listing building. Since it's renovation and modernization it has been used as a luxury holiday home. The accommodation consists of a large open plan kitchen and living area, master bedroom with en-suite, large second bedroom (with sloping roof), modern bathroom and a small third room.

Access to Vellum Court is via a remote control key which will open the main gates to the parking area where there is a single reserved space for the apartment. Walk through the passage way into the enclosed complex of ten character converted properties.

Vellum Court is a first floor apartment but it has it's own front door. Walk up the stairs and the family bathroom can be found on the right hand side with bath/shower, toilet, heated towel rail and basin.

Enter the main living area which is a huge open plan living room, dinning area and well equipped kitchen. There is a feeling of space in this room with it's magnificent high beamed ceiling and four large windows. The kitchen boasts brand new and high specification appliances and is finished with a granite worktop and French oak doors on the units.

Bedroom one is a double bedroom that benefits from an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin bedded room with a large floor plan but please be aware this room has a slopping ceiling which drops off to become very low to one side. Bedroom three is very small but full of character.

Exquisite appartement for a whole familiy

The pictures online looked promising but arriving there was even better! Our family of five enjoyed the nicely carpeted appartement (reminded me of American flats a bit) with a five-star-kitchen gas-stove & granite work top, including a dish-washer and washing machine (the built-in tumble-dryer was out of order during our stay, but come on, who needs that anyways?). The appartement is very well furnished and helpful information is collected in a Folder and there is a basket full of maps, information about nearby sites an places to visit. A guest book is witness to many happy visitors, the beds are comfy, there were even ice cubes in the freezer for the arriving night G & T! For rainy days, there are board-games and a PS2. What's more, there is a DVD-Player and a few movies. I preferred the choice of books there, though. A cupboard full of books ranging from Bill Bryson's travel-literature (hilarious) to very different novels, two Jamie-Oliver cook books in the kitchen and a few oldtimer magazines (loved those, especially the overhaul of an E-Type Jag). Not that I didn't bring my own... WiFi was important to the teenager and us grown-ups to plan & book trips, worked perfectly. The only hint for exaggerated car-lovers: the car parking is under a tree, so your in for a wash after the holiday (or go to Tesco's for a nine-quid hand wash).

Ideal Business and Pleasure stay

This appartment is in a lovely area of Havant which is quaint and easily accessible to the main facilties, M27 Train Station and Waitrose !

Very comfortable and well laid out, quiet and Nigel is so helpful. Its safe secure and there is a nosey neighbhour on the site which keeps things in order and watches out for the residents.

Nothing is needed at the residence, Wifi works like a dream and I left a new teapot for the property nice little pot for one ! Already booked my next stay.

Luxury stay in Havant

Lovely warm, comfortable and homely apartment in a central Havant location. Secure parking, wifi and all the mod cons made this a convenient and well equipped place to stay during our visit. Quiet too with no disturbances. Good transport links too.

Our visit to 2 Vellum Court

We enjoyed our stay at 2 Vellum Court. It met all our expectations. It was clean and spacious and had all the amenities that were advertised. It is ideally located. The supermarket and chemist are just around the corner. Daily outings can easily be made to interesting old towns like Chichester, Arundel and Oxford, or to Portsmouth Harbour, the countryside and local beaches. We can definately reccomend this flat.

A perfect place to stay!

This house is a good place to spend your holliday. Shops, pubs supermarket and the trainstation are all nearby. Vellum court is very clean, well-maintained everythink you need is there! We visisted arundel castle, london and porthmouth by train. (tickets we bought at visit britain) The boqy played with the playstaion and the lego and the cd's wih films is a nice service. its a home far fom home!

We were visiting Hampshire for a family celebration and decided to stay in Vellum Court due to its perfect location and stunning accommodation. The owners (Jenny and Nigel) were extremely helpful – especially as our arrival time was scheduled to be rather late and the facilities were fabulous – a real home from home and highly recommended...

The apartment is within a quiet residential area only a matter of minutes walk from Havant town centre, which provides all the common high street stores, an open air market, Waitrose and a number of coffee shops.

Hayling Island is a 5 minute drive away accross the Langstone harbour bridge and is a quaint seaside resort with a light railway, fabulous walks, golf, riding, funfair, tennis, swimming, water sports, Olympic sailing club and fishing.

Other local tourist attractions include HMS Victory, HMS Warrior & The Mary Rose Museum at Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays with its excellent shopping, the Roman archaeological site of Fishbourne, Staunton Country Park, Weald and Downland open air museum at Singleton and Bosham Art Gallery and Craft Centre.
