About Marmi Fuentebella
Ciao Everybody, My name is Maria Milagros, Marmi for short. I came to Rome in 1979 and threw more than 3 coins in the Trevi Fountain. And so here i am since been 30 years now and Rome is as beautiful as it was the first time i came. I understand perfectly the needs and wants of a visitor in Rome. Casa Lilli would be a perfect place for your stay. The conforts of a home in the tipical 'Dolce Vita' of the italian lifestyle. I'm on Skype:
Marmi Fuentebella purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Marmi Fuentebella chose Municipio I
I chose the location to give our visitors the possibility to step out of the front door and walk straight to the Colosseum where the emperors once dominated the arena. Nowadays the area is a fantastic location for locals and tourists to enjoy the exquisite local cuisine and the vibrant nightlife.
What makes this Apartment unique
From the apartment one easily reaches the main Ancient Roman sites such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, Basilica San Clemente, and the Golden House of Nero just to name a few. There are banks, groceries, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, coffee shops, laundromat, market, pharmacy and parks all within walking distance from Casa Lilli. The metro, bus stop and taxi stands are just 3 to 5 minutes walk. I chose the location to give our visitors the possibility to step out of the front door and walk straight to the Colosseum where the emperors once dominated the arena. The neighborhood is great and safe surrounded by parks and yet CasaLilli is on a very quiet street! I'll be very glad to help you with tours and transfers to make your stay easy and comfortable. I hope to have the pleasure to welcome you to Rome and to CasaLilli.
Smoking allowed only out in the patio.

Amazingly Fabulous Italian Vacation Rental
We loved our stay at CasaLilli and are so glad that Marmi shared her beautiful home with us! CasaLilli is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by several Italian restaurants, shops, and a charming local grocery store. CasaLilli is very comfortably furnished and has a well stocked kitchen. We loved the convenience of being located about a five minute walk away from the Colosseum and the metro so we could visit and explore in Rome.
Marmi is such a lovely and gracious hostess! When we arrived she personally greeted us enthusiastically and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay at CasaLilli. She arranged for our transport to and from the airport and even recommended several tour experiences. The wine tasting tour in the Castelli Romani that she arranged for us was an amazing experience which began with a visit to Castel Gandolfo overlooking the beautiful lake of Albano. We then toured the Minardi vineyards and wine cellar. We learned how to make homemade pasta which we enjoyed later as part of our lunch.
Thank you Marmi for making our first visit to Italy a truly amazing and delightful experience.
Lori and Brad
Marmi helped us before we even arrived. She was there to greet us and arranged for airport pick-up! The apartment was perfect and in a great neighborhood walkable to the Coliseum. She helped with others tours too because we were having difficulty booking things like the Vatican and Borghese Gallery. Marmi you made our Rome trip perfect. In spite of the rain, thanks to Marmi we were able to see all the major attractions. We are telling everyone about CasaLilli and you.
Great 2BR / 2BA Appartment near The Colosseum
This is a great apartment within walking distance of many of Rome's greatest sites. 10-minute walk to the Metro Colosseo Station. Many, many great little cafes, restaurants, bars in the neighborhood.
Full kitchen with everything you might need to prepare a tastey Italian dinner or just coffee (we ate every meal out; couldn't resist the local delicacies). There's a small outdoor sitting area that's nice for a drink in the evening or morning coffee. Pleanty of natural light, fresh air and a washer.
Great place in Rome
We had a fantastic experience staying in this Rome apartment with a convenient location. Accommodations were great, loved having the outdoor terrace! Marmi is great; she helped us arrange transportation which was so appreciated! Also she helped arrange tours to Coliseum, Forum and Vatican City with Maria Theresa which were fantastic!
Lovely apartment in great neighborhood
This is a lovely apartment - spacious and comfortable - in the Celio neighborhood of Rome. It is very near the Colosseum and the church of St. Clemente. We had great communication with the owner both before and during our stay. The apartment is charming - not the typical Ikea set up - but very homey with lots of nice touches. This was a very quiet apartment - no street noise - with comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The kitchen was well fitted out - with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The neighborhood is non touristy - with restaurants, gelaterias etc. mainly attended by locals. The grocery store is a short walk as is the taxi stand. The owner was waiting for us on arrival and gave us a thorough explanation of how everything in the apartment worked, including washing machine, tv, kitchen appliances etc. She also gave us great tips on how to enjoy the city, and nearby attractions. I would not hesitate to stay here again - wonderful experience!
Very quick walk to Colosseo, but still with a neighborhood feel. Casalili was very accommodating and responded to all our requests very fast.
restaurants, pubs, pizzerias, picnic, churches, concerts, jogging, public parks, sight-seeing, monuments, shopping.
