The house is located at the end of a charming country road, surrounded by beautiful farms and the grand splendor of Blaine Mountain and surrounding peaks. Glacier National Park (25 miles) and Flathead Lake (19 miles) are short day trips; hiking, fishing, skiing, golf, and shopping are also minutes away. Enjoy the sun spilling through large east facing windows in the morning, clear night skies on the porch, walking on quiet country roads, and gathering with friends and family in the open floor plan. Plenty of room for kids to roam and explore on almost 3 acres. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, luxurious, relaxing retreat!

Three bedrooms in the home; one king, one queen, and two twins. There is also a full size futon in the loft which adds additional sleeping space. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor, which also has a full bathroom. The master bedroom is upstairs, adjacent to the loft, and has a small half bathroom.

Amenities include a full kitchen with gas range (place settings for 8); 4 burner outdoor grill; deck; house guitar; small library of books and games; wireless internet; 48" Smart TV; washer and dryer; local guidebooks and info.

Environmentally conscious home - we use only nontoxic and environmentally friendly cleaning products; recycling bins available; zero VOC paints; organic cotton bedding in some rooms; organic coffee beans, olive oil, sugar, and flour stocked in the kitchen. We also have reusable cloth grocery bags, coffee mugs, and a small cooler in the home for your use during day trips.

About Kathleen Morrone

We have spent a lot of our lives traveling. After many journeys around the globe and the mountainous areas of the United States, we finally crossed paths and formed a lifelong partnership in 2014. After a backcountry ski trip to a rental cabin which entailed each of us skiing with 60 pound sleds 8 miles into the Flathead National Forest, we were married in March of 2015 and have planted roots in the Flathead Valley.

Kathleen Morrone purchased this chalet in 2015

Why Kathleen Morrone chose Montana

We have finally settled down in the beautiful Flathead Valley because of its beauty, friendly community, and the incredible access to mountain adventures. There is no place either of us love more, and we are so excited to be able to start this venture that shares it with you! It is truly an amazing place to be, and we hope you will experience the joy and love this place has brought to us.

What makes this chalet unique

The views from this property, the peaceful setting, and the proximity to outdoor recreation are second to none!

Quaint & cozy with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

Our family absolutely loved the time we got to spend here! We found out at the last moment that our oldest son was getting leave from his Naval post in Bahrain and was able to make this family trip to Glacier! We will always hold this home close in our hearts.

Kathleen was so helpful in accommodating our last minute reservation needs and welcoming our late arrival with the warm glow of the front porch and living room lights! Inside we were greeted with fresh cut flowers, a handwritten note and an adorable chalkboard sign welcoming our family! On our last night we realized that we had A LOT of extra food that could not make it back to Pennsylvania with us and we didn't want it to go to waste. We contacted Kathleen and she made sure it all got donated to a local food bank.

The house was impeccably clean and well organized! We really appreciated the owners willingness to take the time to make certain every detail of offering a "home away from home" was not overlooked!

Expectations were exceeded in this rental!

  • 5 of 5

This was the most well equipped and thought out rental that we have ever stayed in. Everything exceeded our expectations! We appreciated the eco-conscuious commitment and had we been there longer we would have used the cloth grocery bags and cooler that was available. The local coffee and coffee grinder was a nice treat and the guitar was a nice surprise for my guitar playing husband. The kitchen was well equipped, which was perfect because we ended up coming back and cooking dinner after finding almost all of the restaurants in town closed on Sunday. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee enjoying the amazing view!

Loved this house!

  • 5 of 5

We went to Montana for a family wedding and rented this VRBO for five days. It was beyond wonderful. The views our the huge front windows are breathtaking, the walks were wonderful, and we did not want to leave. It was soooo peaceful and serene.

The house was immaculate and we appreciated a living room that was conducive to reading and visiting rather than watching TV. If TV is wanted, it is upstairs in the loft but who needs TV in such a beautiful place! Especially when you can watch deer and bunnies right out the front windows.

Loved the proximity to Glacier Park and did the hike up to Avalanche Lake which we highly recommend!

Also appreciated the sensitivity to the environment (don't see that often) - special soaps for laundry and dishes, recycling containers under the sink.

Can't say enough good about this house and its owners, Kathleen and Jeremy. You get a lot for the price.

Amazing property!

  • 5 of 5

My family (7 of us plus a toddler) stayed here and couldn't have been happier. The location was so conveniently located by Glacier NP, Columbia Falls and Kalispell and had amazing views of mountains and fields. We loved the open concept layout of the house and all the detail and work put into making the house feel like home. Really enjoyed the blend of rustic decorations while still feeling new and contemporary. The owners were incredibly easy to work with, kept the house clean and well maintained and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this rental to everyone!

Superb home for Glacier and Whitefish

  • 5 of 5

Our recent trip to Montana was made even more enjoyable by our lovely accommodations. The house slept 8 comfortably, was clean, fully furnished, and completely stocked with cleaning supplies, etc. The view is amazing and its proximity to Glacier and Whitefish is ideal for day trips. Communication with the owner always occurred quickly and the price was more than reasonable. Overall, a terrific place to stay!

My family of four stayed at this beautiful, amazing, and breathe taking home for an entire week! From the moment we drove down the country road and turned onto this beautiful property, it met every expectation and even more! From the large front porch, to the open floor plan, to the beautiful mountain view we enjoyed every moment we had in the beautiful valley! We were able to view a deer and her two fawns daily, and even the bunnies that even understood how amazing this house is!

The beds and all furniture made you feel as if you were walking into your own home! The feel and vibe of the house is 'sit and relax' and and enjoy the mountain view! The ability to do laundry when needed with good natural laundry detergent, to being able to make our own meals and sit around the table and talk about our day is something you can't put a price on.

To top all of this amazing vacation off, you could not ask for better hosts!!! Kathleen answered my emails within a short amount of time!! Any question I had for her, she had an answer within moments! The hospitality of her and Jeremy is again something you can not put a price on!

The only bad part of the vacation was having to leave! Everyone we met in Glacier National Park and in the Flathead Valley were so nice and friendly! We would recommend this place to anyone! You will not be disappointed with your decision to book with Jeremy and Kathleen!

Family of Four...2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 9 yo) from Wisconsin.

Blessings on your day,

Stu and Jen
