We had such a great time at this cabin. Kayaked and hiked during the day and spent the nights sitting around the fire listening to the loons.
Definitely would love to come back.
We stayed here for a week w/our 2 kids ages 10 & 13. The cabin was well equipped for the week and had more room than I anticipated. The kayaks and canoes were very convenient. The lake was great for exploring and swimming. The fire pit and grill were a nice addition. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient enough to town and exploring the area for hiking and other activities. There was a deer on the property who visited us every day with her two fawns. I would highly recommend the cabin!
I spent the week at the cabin in Beaver Cove with my husband and two kids (ages 6 and 9). The cabin was perfect for what we needed and the kids loved the loft bedroom with the twin beds. The cabin was just as described and Amy was quick to respond to inquiries before our stay. The kids loved the waterfront so we spent most of our time there but we also had fun exploring the property and neighborhood. We had a great week at the cabin. Thank you!
Our family of 5 fit perfectly with the 3 kids in the loft( we brought a blowup mattress).
The camp is located in a cove and is sheltered from winds and choppiness of the big part of the lake which made it safer for the kids to use the boats, also the water is shallow for a ways out and there are sandy patches so you can stand without sinking. Yeah!! The kids had a great time on the lot, it is large and the camp is set back from the water. A little bit of a hike/incline for older people, but we were ok with it. Don and I enjoyed the privacy of the lot and the big fire pit. Thanks we had a great time and it is close to Greenvile.
Owners are very accommodating, quick to respond to inquiries, and easy to work with. As crazy as my schedule is, I really appreciated that! Unit was as advertised and well appointed with most everything needed for a carefree get away. That's what my group was looking for, and the Manson's place delivered.
My husband, son and I went to this place last year. We are from NYC and wanted a quiet getaway, and bow did we get it! This place was fantastic! The cabin is very clean, and the area was very quiet! It was lovely taking a morning stroll down the road, or to the lake. Owner provided a barbeque grill at our request, and she was very accommodating. We were fortunate to catch a meteor shower while we were there and lucky that we brought our telescope. We also took a nice cruise on Moosehead lake with spectacular views. There is a great bakery in town; we went everyday for donuts! This place is great and close to lots of other outdoor activities and trails. Its also great to snuggle in and hang around the property. We definitely want to come back again!
