Our home is just a short stroll from the harbour, nestled within the highly sought-after medieval walls of Conwy. Unique and beautiful views of the Castle, Conwy Estuary and mountains beyond from a private spacious, sunny, roof terrace. An ideal all-year holiday base for exploring the mountains and beaches of North Wales. Located against the 13th century town walls with no passing traffic, Castleview Cottage is perfectly located to make the most of all the amenities and attractions of Conwy and just minutes away from stunning countryside and lovely beaches. This stone built Fisherman's Cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings whilst retaining charm and character. The spacious lounge/diner features a cosy open fire and the light and airy breakfast kitchen features wall to wall windows to make the most of the outlook over the 800 year old castle tower and Medieval town walls. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms (double and bunk bedroom) and luxury shower room with walk-in shower, basin and wc

The spacious roof terrace is a sun trap during the summer months and perfect to enjoy breakfast alfresco or a relaxing drink during the evening enjoying the sunset. Outside, the cottage has a breakfast deck off the kitchen and access to a shared sitting area set within an 800 year old tower.

We are well equipped for families, with travel cot, stairgate, high chair and toys. We have a small library of family DVDs, games, books and local walking guides. There is also a flat screen TV, DVD player, wi-fi, CD player, Roberts Radio and BOSE soundock system with wireless Bluetooth.

Everything is made up ready with quality 200 count cotton bed linen, towels and complimentary essentials for a self-catered holiday.

All the town's facilities are within a two minute walk of the cottage including interesting shops, tearooms, restaurants, the old harbour and historic buildings.

The ancient coastal town of Conwy, on the edge the Snowdonia National Park, is an ideal base to explore the region's beaches, mountains and other attractions. A huge range of outdoor pursuits are available, including walking, mountain biking, climbing, bird-watching, and sailing. Wide sandy beaches and the marina are within walking distance, and some of the best coastal and mountain walks in the Country start from the doorstep!

About Mrs. Jackie Bamber

Croeso and welcome to Castleview Cottage!

Please do visit our website for lots more information on our home and local area.

We love to welcome guests to our homes and share the beautiful surroundings and nature. My working life has been dedicated to cleaning our world's oceans of marine debris and plastics - as a family we try our best to live in a sustainable way and tread carefully on our planet.

We love nature, mountain biking, sailing, walking, exploring the world in our early 70's VW bus.

Mrs. Jackie Bamber purchased this cottage in 2007

Why Mrs. Jackie Bamber chose Conwy

We spent a long time looking for the perfect fisherman's cottage in Conwy within the town walls but without passing traffic . It also had to have the 'wow' factor. As soon as we got a glimpse of the view from the kitchen we were sold! The view from the roof terrace is even better! We maximised that unique view with the installation of full length windows in the kitchen (knocking through 2 foot solid stone walls). The house was completely renovated whilst trying to keep the character of the 200 year old cottage. We believe Conwy is the perfect base to enjoy everything on offer in North Wales - unbeatable coastal and mountain walks, plenty of attractions within a short walk or drive, beautiful beaches and Snowdonia National Park on our doorstep.

What makes this cottage unique

Unique unbelievable views!

Location! Location! Location!

Castleview is within the Medieval walls of Conwy - the harbour and local attractions are just a short stroll away.

Real fire - a must for cosy nights in and you will find it set ready for you to light!

Lovely terraced cottage

This was a lively spot to stay. The cottage had everything needed and was well appointed. Conwy and the surrounding area has loads to offer and our family spent a very enjoyable week there.

Step Back in Time with Modern Ammenities

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful little hideaway on the coast and within the city walls. Everything you need is within walking distance of the unit. Restaurants, shopping, groceries, and incredible history. Conwy Castle is a must visit to anyone in the area. Mt Snowden is nearby, too.

The kitchen is up-to-date with everything you could possibly need.

lovely cottage, wonderful town

  • 5 of 5

We found castle view cottage to be very comfortable and homely. The views are amazing, the kitchen and bathroom are a great size, clean, modern and fully equipped. Being so close to the historic walls was a unique experience. Conwy is a delightful town with plenty of interesting shops and places to eat and drink. We visited the harbour every day as it was only a five minute walk away and a great place to watch the world go by. We had never been to Wales before but we couldn't have made a better choice and will certainly be back. Our dog had a brilliant time too. The owners were very good with very clear communication and they made us feel very welcome.

Such care and attention to detail and comfort

  • 5 of 5

Perfectly matched the description. This cottage was most comfortable and easy to live in. Loads of storage and additional extras; the owners obviously care very much about the experience of the "holiday maker". Loved it to bits. The owners should be very proud.

Location absolutely central; much to do and see within either walking distance or a short drive away. Would like to re-visit Conwy during the spring or summer.

Thank you to the owners!

Delightful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely, well equipped and just as described. It was clean and well looked after. Communication with the owner when booking was good and her communication was excellent. We fell in love with Conwy and the surrounding area - there was so much to do. We loved walking Conwy town walls, visiting the castle, suspension bridge and Plas Mawr. We also enjoyed a trip into Snowdonia, visiting aqueducts in the Llangollen/Chirk area, and a trip to Anglesey as well as visiting the Great Orme via cable car. Due to having a dog and two children we didn't eat out much but cooked in the cottage it treated ourselves to local fish and chips.
