Enjoy a relaxing getaway on your own moored houseboat. This is not motorized. Built in 2013, the home is well appointed with a double bed and upper single bunk in the bedroom. The living area has a lay flat sofa bed. There is an electric cooking unit, gridle, and on shore there are charcoal grills (charcoal and lighter fluid available). Enjoy picturesque views from the deck and watch the tide roll in and out!

Unique Experience at Hidden Gem Location
My husband, 14 month old baby girl and dog really loved our stay at Drew's houseboat at Jarrell's Cove Marina. Wow, what a unique experience! Being on the water was special, as the boat moves and rocks ever so slightly and gently when the tide comes in or a boat goes by. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back deck and just look over the water and enjoy the view and watch the wildlife, which was in abundance!! During the week that we stayed there we saw seals, otters, jellyfish, large schools of fish, swallows, cormorants, a resident blue heron who was always on some part of the dock trying to talk to us, large crabs in the water at low tide, cranes and bald eagles!! We were hoping to see orcas off the deck like another reviewer mentioned, but I knew that was a long shot :-). We loved hiking in the nearby Jarrell's Cove State Park and Harstine Island State Park and we bought honey and picked our own produce at Harstine Acres Farm right down the road. Next time when our baby is older, we will definitely bring our kayak and explore the cove. We also really loved spending time in the little park directly across from the houseboat at Jarrell's Cove Marina. It was gorgeous and well taken care of. We would walk on the beach when the tide was not too high, and it was so nice that it was right there off the boat. The little store at the Marina will have anything you might need while you stay, but I do recommend stopping at the Safeway in Shelton on your way in to get your food and essentials. The kitchen on the houseboat has what you need to cook a full meal, with a plug in stove top and a large countertop oven. The mini fridge held everything we needed as well, including ice cream for the week. The bedroom was very comfortable and there was room for the baby's pack n play. The house was very cute and nicely decorated, the bathroom was quite nice with a full bath (perfect for our baby) and the DVD selection was excellent! A little extra info for anyone with babies, the back deck does not have a railing/fence around it, but we just strapped a travel high chair to one of the dining table chairs and put baby safely outside that way. There are two large comfortable deck chairs out there to relax in and it was a large enough deck enough for all four of us to relax out there comfortably. The stars at night off the deck were amazing! I am going on and on because it was so great! We highly recommend Drew's houseboat!
Cozy and comfortable
We absolutely loved our stay here! Be sure to bring a kayak or canoe so you can enjoy paddling around the sweet little harbors. The marina community was very friendly and the houseboat was such a great place to come back to at the end of the day to enjoy dinner and a movie or to read out on the back deck over the water. Also great for afternoon naps! Looking forward to a return trip.
Great quiet get away in unique setting
Loved the experience of being in a teethers boat house among all the boats. The resort was closed so very quiet,. No internet service, only 1 bar on the phone and very little TV service that was consistent meant some good time to read, play games and talk to each other. Great couple retreat. Curtains on the windows would have been nice so one could sleep in would have helped. Fixed our meals in houseboat.
Quiet private retreat
Cozy houseboat with amazing State Park close by and Marina Park steps away. The views were amazing but the quiet sounds of nature doing its thing is what we liked the best. Sofa/futon totally uncomfortable but two people fit very comfortably on the bottom bunk double bed and top bunk single bed is great for small person like our preschooler. Easy and very prompt communications by owner. He was a pleasure to deal with, answered our emails right away, and the house was clean. Thank you again for sharing your little piece of heaven!
A last minute get away for my son and I during his Spring break. An easy ferry ride and quick drive, but far enough away that you feel like you are getting out of town. The first thing we immediately noticed when we got out of the car upon arrival to Jarrell's Cove was silence. No sounds to be heard whatsoever, just nature....so calming and soothing to the soul. :) Staying on the boathouse was a fun experience! It was clean and comfortable. The little store was closed for the season, but we brought in all of our groceries. There is a great bakery about two miles down the main highway called Olympic Bakery & Deli. During our stay we saw seals and eagles and we walked along the water. No internet which was great! Got my son away from computer games for a couple of days. We left feeling refreshed. Hope to be back again, maybe in the summer!
