Quiet location with plenty of activities nearby if you want them

Our holiday apartment is in San Agustin, an attractive relaxing resort, twenty five minutes drive from the airport, in the sunny south of the island of Gran Canaria.

The resort has a safe sandy beach, with watersports, bar/restaurant and coastal walkway that reaches to Maspalomas and it's famous sand dunes. Gran Canaria is a sub- tropical island with a climate to match. The average temperature is 25 degrees centigrade, making it an ideal year round holiday destination.

The Canary Islands belong to Spain but are located off the Western coast of Africa, on a level with southern Morocco. Gran Canaria is described as a mini continent because of the variety of landscapes to be found there, from the endless sandy beaches in the south, made for basking in the sun all year round, to the dramatic rock formations and mountains of the interior and the island's capital Las Palmas located in the north, an exciting cosmopolitan city with it's own beaches, elegant stores and a broad range of cultural activities.

Las Lomas is a well run, secure/private complex, right on the coast. It has a pool with sun beds and shades and gardens with tropical plants.

The apartment is fully furnished and well equipped.It has one twin bedroom with two single beds and one double bedroom with a 6ft bed. The lounge has a two seater and three seater settee. The kitchen has been upgraded and has a washing machine, a microwave and a small oven. We have also refurbished the bathroom which now has a Walk in shower and we provide towels. The balcony has sea views but we are not on the beach itself. There is a very useful clothes airer on the balcony. You can wash your clothes, hang them out to dry, go to the beach and everything will be dry on your return :)

We have wi fi in the apartment which we felt was an essential.

All linen, including beach towels, is provided. The apartment is fully serviced before and after your arrival including a welcome pack.

We have a small library of a variety of easy read novels that you are welcome to read during your stay.

We are located in a peaceful area and all amenities are easily reached. A variety of shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance and if you'd like to go further afield the local buses and taxis are efficient and economical; there is a taxi rank right opposite Las Lomas. There's a small bar at the entrance to the complex where drinks, ices and snack meals are served, so if you don't feel like going too far after a long day at the pool or beach, you don't have to!

perfect quiet family holiday

We are a family of 3 (our daughter is 6). We enjoyed a lovely quiet family holiday at this apartment.

The apartment was very well equipped, which is so handy with a child. We don't usually do self catering, but we enjoyed it as there was a few supermarket shops close by, and we were able to cook at home.

We most liked about the location was that it was very quiet, but if you did fancy some nightlife it wasn't too far away.

We felt very safe and secure, with pleasent neighbours nearby. Beautiful beach with lovely restaurants not too far.

We got a bus to the nearest aqua park, which was very simple and had a great day out.

We would definitely come back to stay.

Gran Canaria for the first time...

The apartment was clean, tidy and had all that was needed for a holiday for four. We felt very secure in the complex, which is well kept and looked after. The pool is very clean and again is well looked after.

The location (10 minute down hill walk to lovely beach and not as on the map attached to the apartment details) was great beach and local shop close by.

Excellent transport connections.

Would go again.

Très bon sejour

Appartement très bien équipé. Très bonne literie. Il y a peut-être un peu trop de meubles dans la pièce principale. Un seul canapé serait suffisant ce qui permettrait de mettre la table de la terrasse pour dîner quand il fait frais.

Résidence très tranquille et belle piscine bien entretenue.

Proximité de la plage mais il y a 150 marches pour y parvenir.

Bon emplacement dans un quartier calme. Petit supermarché peu éloigné ainsi que les arrêts de bus .

Owner's Response: Thank you Jannick - we know the steps can appear challenging after an afternoon on the beach so we tend to grab an ice cream from El Capitan and walk the calories off coming up past the supermarket. :) We are going to move some of the furniture out/around to accommodate a table. We appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you again.

Vacanza super rilassante!

Siamo una famiglia italiana con 2 bambini piccoli, abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni a Gran Canaria, visitando la maggior parte dei villaggi lungo la costa e il nostro preferito rimane San Agustin, in quanto è un villaggio pianeggiante, con giardini, parco giochi, negozi e ristoranti tutti nelle immediate vicinanze.

La comunicazione via mail e telefono con il proprietario dell 'appartamento prima di partire è stata ottima, tutte le informazioni erano esatte.

L'appartamento è grande, confortevole e dotato di tutto dal micronde alla lavatrice.

Ci sono 2 camere da letto 1 bagno Il soggiorno e l'angolo cottura tutto semplicemente perfetto per la nostra famiglia.

L''edificio in sé è molto tranquillo, non c'è rumore di strada, poca gente e c'è anche la piscina non riscaldata.

Nell'appartamento c'è la televisione nel terrazzo un tavolo per potere pranzare o cenare, per gli ospiti molti libri in varie lingue.

Abbiamo affittato una macchina appena fuori dal condominio ( più economico in confronto con le varie agenzie dell'areoporto).

C'è una palestra e un campo da tennis a pochi minuti di distanza.

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza molto rilassante e il tempo era perfetto!
