Our host, Tony, was very accommodating and helpful. He recommended an out of the way restaurant that was the best of our ten day trip. The cottage is five star, meticulously furnished, decorated and neat. The most contemporary of fixtures and appliances and a beautifully maintained garden. It was easily the most comfortable and luxurious of any by-owner rental we have ever had.
Superb property well appointed ideally suited for the West Highlands
Second stay here - as good as before
We had stayed a couple of years ago and the house was just as good as before. Great that it's dog friendly, you can walk by the loch for your pre-breakfast walk. House is very clean and warm. Tony (the owner) is always very helpful if there are any questions. Thoroughly recommend it.
Our third stay...! Love love LOVE it!!
Can’t recommend this place enough! We have returned with our two daughters and enjoyed another wonderful week. The house has everything you could want for a cozy relaxing stay, including a really well appointed kitchen for true family self-catering. That said there are plenty of nice places to eat or get takeaway, a few within walking distance.
Absolutely stunning scenery right on the doorstep and a great base for walking and exploring Glencoe.
Highly recommend: Pixel Spirits, Gin School at Loch Leven Hotel; easy pretty walks, Glencoe Lochan and Grey Mares Waterfalls, posh fish supper for up the road; fine dining with a view, The Airdes Hotel, Port Appin...
What an amazing place to stay. Tony & Mairi were the most friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The location was ideal for us. Quiet enough to be able to feel peaceful but a short walk from the local shop and pub.
The accommodation was incredible, everything you could want was there to make our stay perfect.
We had our stay cut short due to a poorly dog (all better now) but will most definitely be re-booking for a full stay next time.
Thank you Tony & Mairi
Beautiful house and views of the loch
My wife and I stayed at the property for a few days to unwind and absolutely loved it! It's very well furnished, immaculately clean and a very relaxing place to be. We will definitely be coming back in the future and highly recommend it to anyone else.
