Beautiful with over the top extras!

  • 5 of 5

We only had one nights’ stay, but could have stayed a month. Everything you could possibly need was there and the host greeted us like a long lost friend. Could not say enough about this beautiful cottage with beautiful views of the water just steps away. Loved staying here!

Right out of Architectural Digest

  • 5 of 5

This place was unbelievably beautiful. The view of the loch and the decorating were just gorgeous. I felt like I was one of the top 1% staying here... it's just amazing. That sounds a little over the top as I reread it, but the place has to be seen to be believed. Really nice!

Beautiful cottage, in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Sitting on it’s own point looking down toward the bridge between North and South Ballachulish, sundowns are extraordinary. The cottage is well appointed, with everything you need after a long day exploring the highlands. Working with Tony is a dream, he is knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area and extremely outgoing and friendly. We spent 8 nights and were pleased with every aspect of our rental.

Lovely home, gorgeous scenery, and great hiking

  • 5 of 5

We loved this home in an ideal location. The home has a large living room with super comfy couches and a 60” TV. A great place to lay around at the end of the day. The kitchen and dining room have every thing needed to enjoy meals at home. The art work in the house is beautiful. A short 10 minute walk away is the little village of Ballachulish where there is a great Co-Op for groceries and a shop for fish and chips, pizza, burgers, etc. But the best is Laroch Restaurant and Bar. We had lunch at this Michelin star restaurant and it was exquisite. We did 3 hikes in the area. We drove back to Fort Williams and about 6 miles further to Ben Nevis Gorge. Great short walk through the gorge and further up the valley. In the Glencoe area, we hiked up to Stob Dubh - 958 meters. It is stone steps up to the saddle. Then up to the top where there is a great ridge walk. The last hike started at the West Highland Way and then we went up the Devil Staircase and then up to Stob Mhic Mhartuin. Stop at the National Trust in Glencoe to talk to a ranger for all the maps and hiking info. This lovely home was a great base for a wonderful visit to Glencoe.

Beautiful property, with beautiful location, such a shame for the Easter break there wasn't much open. The property needs a welcoming book, recommending places to visit & to eat. Plus map location of glencoe it's self.
