Cozy & clean get away

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying here. It is a great little cabin with a great location. Slept mom and dad with three girls with ease. Cabin is not luxury accommodations, but his clean well-maintained and put together. Jim the property manager is great to work with also.

One bit of advice ...fireplace is a small, insert type. If you're burning wood you need to bring small, short piece to fit in the fireplace.

We had a great time and will be coming back again!

Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was great and had everything that we needed. There was enough room for 6 adults. The location was great too, just a block away from the Cedar shuttle stop.

Very cute and clean. Has everything you need.

3 couples and 1 child. Place fit all of us very comfortably. Loved the cabin decor, how clean the place was and specially that it is a very short distance from the slopes at Bear Mountain.

Great option, a few complaints

  • 3 of 5

This cute, cozy cabin generally met expectations but there were a couple little things that affected our stay. First, it's listed as pets not allowed and there seems to be a cat that spends a lot of time in the cabin, based on my husbands practically-bleeding eyes and my son's need for his asthma medication. If you have pet allergies, avoid the upstairs master and consider another property. (I don't book "pets allowed" places for that reason.) Also, the thermostat resets to 55 degrees every few hours, so overnight the kids woke up freezing. Overall we prefer the other side of Moonridge where it's a bit hillier and there are some views, but this is a great option for anyone who plans on spending time at Bear Mountain. The place is clean and friendly, the kitchen stocked and a good option for two couples with kids.
