Great Modern Apartment in ideal location

Apartment was clean, beautiful and modern. Huge refrigerator and nice shower. The bed was so comfortable, able to sleep well. Location was ideal -- few steps from beach, shops, restaurants and next to homemade cigar shop. Will definitely come again!

Great Apartment, Great Location!!

Apartment: The apartment is clean and modern. Kitchen has a small hot plate..good enough for making tea or boiling water...not too much cooking.

Bedroom is comfortable for a couple...there is room in the living room - but I am not sure if sofa is convertible(ask Rob-Val and they will reply quick).

Bathroom is clean and well equipped.Now - the bathroom has hazy glass doors. Again - for a couple it might be ok - but if you are trying more people then you need to be careful.

Location: This apartment is part of Congress Hotel on Ocean drive...in the heart of South Beach. DONT rent a car!! There is no parking and it will add unnecessary hassle to your trip. For transportation you can book a shuttle from the airport, taxi or Uber. You can also get Miami-Dade easy card or Easy ticket...google it.You can buy the card from Le Ann pharmacy a couple of blocks down. Its a prepaid card you can use on buses, metros etc. Bus#120 goes from 9th ave& Washington to downtown. You can also use cars2go...again...google it. Basically its a car sharing service. They have White and Blue colored smart cars all over the city...you can rent for per hour basis and be done with it. NOTE: they need your drivers license # to run a check on you which could take 3-7 business days - so plan accordingly. They have designated paid parking spots so you dont have to worry - because parking anywhere in Ocean Drive is $20/night.

Tours: There are plenty tour companies around...hop-on..hop-off, boat rides just a few blocks away. I used HalfPrice tour company...and they are good. We also took a tour bus to Key West...bus leaves at 645am and comes back at 9pm. Dont drive to Key West and think of coming back the same day...its 4 hours away and you will be exhausted and wont enjoy it.

Rocky start, finished strong.

My wife and I arrived early, so I knew that we would have to wait to check in. Problem is, the previous tenant had not yet checked out at 11a. So we went to have breakfast, shopped a bit, returned at 2pm, still no check out. 3pm, 330, no check out. Apparently renters were a ways away and forget to check out. Not owners issue true, but not ours either. Long story short, we finally entered at 430. Only 30 minutes after advertised check in time, despite the issues. The rest of the stay was great. Perfect location, perfect size for a couple or single.

Clean and reflects what's in the photos, great location on Ocean Drive

The property was in a great central location on Ocean Drive; as a past Miami resident, I knew going in that this location was prime for being close to the beach and other main attractions. Parking was expensive and not entirely convenient; closest garages were a few blocks away and street parking is ridiculously costly for overnight stays. I think we probably spent $100-$150 to park our rental car for a 3-night stay. Beware of Miami Beach parking!!!

The unit was comfy and spacious with all the amenties you could need, including refrigerator, dishes and glasses and pots and pans (if you want to cook, only have a small cooktop on the counter), coffee pot, and plenty of towels. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, although the rainfall shower was a bit uncomfortable and treacherous (slippery and a bit awkward to get into and out of). The rooftop pool was also cool, although small. There was a party happening up there one afternoon during our stay and it was fun; good live DJ, good drinks, and a nice vibe. Definitely very cool.

With that being said, the specific unit we stayed in was not the best in terms of noise. We were facing the Versace mansion on one side (literally 50 feet away across the street) and an alley on the other. There happened to be a huge party at the Versace mansion on Sunday night during our stay to celebrate Jeff Gordon's retirement, and it was horrible. There was a live DJ playing from 11 PM - 6 AM and there was absolutely no sound insulation in our room. We could hear every lyric and noise all night. Not a wink of sleep was had. Also, garbage trucks, delivery vans, and raucous party people on the street (because we were only one story up from the sidewalk) were out very early in the morning and definitely affected the ability to sleep in. If you're going to Miami to party and expect to be out most of the night, this is a great spot to stay. If you want to relax and sleep in (or well), this is NOT the spot for you.

Walker friendly location convenient to everything in South Beach, on Ocean Dr., steps from the beach

Great location, convenient to everything in South Beach. The owners were easy to work with on short notice of less than 5 days. The kitchen was smaller than I expected, there was no stove but a commercial hot plate. The kitchen is only an issue if you plan to do a fair amount of cooking, otherwise no big deal. On cleanliness I give it a 9 out of 10 on a scale with 10 as the highest mark. Great Cigar shop next door. The Clevelander is at the opposite end of the block, so there is plenty of action and night life. The main drawback is that the restaurants just outside of the front door are a pain in the neck with pandering, of course this can be said for all of the restaurants along Ocean Dr. We just learned to say "we're full" or better yet "we just ate here two hours ago don't you remember seating us". For local travel, the Citi-bikes are right across the street as you walk to the beach and renting them for 24 hrs. is cheaper than any all day bike rental in the area and there are docking stations all over South Beach which makes it easy to see everything by bicycle. I would stay here again and I have already recommended this location to several friends.

We booked on very short notice of less than 5 days and the owners Rob & Val were very quick to get back to us on any questions that we had regarding the rental.

This was not a luxury suite but price to value on the size of the unit for two people, cleanliness, location and comfort couldn't be beat. We had a comfortable and great stay.
