This recently renovated beach chic cottage, located in beautiful Culloden Shores, is your perfect getaway for relaxation and fun. This 1.5 Bedroom (Bedroom and pullout/nook area plus Queen sofa couch) 1 Bath Leisurama home is perfect for a single, couple or small family. Situated on a dead end street surrounded by a Preserve and across from Stanleys Pond (yes, you can fish there), it offers privacy but within a few minutes walk (1/4 mile) to a private bay beach (perfect for kids). In a short 1 mile walk or bike ride to Montauk Harbor, you can enjoy the many great restaurants, nightlife, boating, fishing and the historic Gosmans Dock with its fresh fish selections and shops and some of the best sunsets. The center of town and Ocean Beaches are a quick 5 minute drive just 2.5 miles away.

The open and bright layout with vaulted wood ceilings and fireplace, has all your needs in a cozy simple home. Flat Panel TV, music system and WiFi keeps you connected for when you need it. The backyard is private and fenced in for relaxing during the day and having BBQ's.

True feeling of ‘home’ in cozy Culloden!

My boyfriend, puppy and me were lucky to call this our home for a year! Steps to a private beach, fishing in the pond, beautiful trails and hikes to unbelievable Montauk sunsets. The neighborhood is serene and neighbors are mindful of the family feel and authentic Montauk experience. Kids and pet friendly!

With a fenced in backyard, you have your own private haven away from it all. Great for entertaining with a firepit, grill and plenty of seating. Lounge chairs for soaking in the sun.

The home is modern and updated. Comfy couches with large tv and fireplace in living room. Cozy bedroom with sliding glass door to backyard. Kitchen is fully stocked with all new appliances, a big perk for those who love to cook.

Short drive to Gosman’s dock, local restaurants (Westlake Fish House a must), shops, a well curated organic market and Ben & Jerry’s. With a few new additions to the neighborhood - Montauk Market, Left Hand Coffee, and Goldbergs Bagels, everything is a bike ride or short drive away.

James was an absolute pleasure to have as a landlord. Kind, professional, considerate and organized. James’ detailed guide to the house covers everything you’ll need to know. Great sense of urgency with maintenance, utilities and any other service needed during our stay. The care and detail put in to the nautical cozy decor and feel of this ‘HomeAway’ will always hold a special place in our hearts. Amazing experience and wonderful people. Thank you James and family!

Great cottage & location!

My wife and I and our dog spent the weekend at James's cottage and highly recommend the property. Very convenient to the town, as well as a nice private beach. The interior is very clean and well-appointed, and the backyard is huge. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful little gem!

The house is clean, modern and perfect for a weekend getaway or long stays. It was great to be able to walk to the private beach just a block away. Also the large yard was such a plus!

Perfect quiet getaway!

My wife, son and our dog had a perfect week stay in Montauk. We stayed late October into early November, which is ideal for me because there are no crowds. The house is tucked away on a quiet block across from a beautiful pond (Stanley's Pond). The house is located within close proximity to all that is needed. Bought myself a fishing pole at K-Mart in Bridgehampton on the way out and caught some Large Mouth Bass across the street at the pond. Could not say more about how EXCELLENT our time was at this perfect Leisurama Montauk house. Awesome homeowner who was easily reachable and very accommodating. Thanks for the great time and amazing memories!

Beautiful Little Beach House

My husband, myself, and our dog had a wonderful time at this rental. It was in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach access, and the home was maintained beautifully. There were plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute driving distance from the home, even with it being November and many businesses having closed for the season. We would highly recommend this property, especially if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway in the off-season.

Just what we wanted!

My Wife, our Pup and I had such a great stay in Montauk, it was exactly what we were after.

The house is very nice and renovated inside with a very nice beachy feel and a fully stocked kitchen. The yard is a good size and was great for our Pup to play in with a ball. The grill and the firepit were also great additions which we made good use of.

The location was great too, in walking distance to Gossmans and the beach. The beach was so great as well and every day we went there we had amazing sunsets and the water was nice enough to swim. Our Pup loved the beach too after 6pm or early in the morning and had an absolute ball.

This was a great relaxing trip to Montauk and we hope to return again next year.
