Over 1,600 sq ft, 3 bed/2 bath, large lanai, sleeps 6+, professionally remodeled

Completely updated classic 1950's Siesta Key beach house!! Everything has been updated including all the appliances (washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and air conditioning), professionally tiled, brand new lanai screening, 2 wall mounted wide screen HD televisions, cable TV/internet, and wifi access. There are 3 bedrooms (1 king size bed, 1 queen, 1 full), a futon (sleeps 1-2), and a queen sized pull-out bed in the living room couch. The kitchen table seats 4-6 comfortably. Take a 10 minute walk to beach access #10, or a leisurely scenic 15 minute stroll to Siesta Key Village to eat, shop, or play! (NOTE: initial inquiries via email will get the quickest response)

About Myles Locke

We live with our two children in Atlanta, and fell in love with Siesta Key when we first visited back in 2000. We come here two to three times a year, and still haven't done all there is to do. Like many of us who grew up in the "great white north" (I'm originally from Michigan) I've grown to take my summers seriously!! We northerners appreciate how special Florida is, and everyone who visits Siesta Key learns to love this little slice of paradise.

Why Myles Locke chose Siesta Key

We daydreamed about owning a home on Siesta Key for over a decade before we were blessed with the opportunity to make that happen in 2011. This house is perfect for walking to the beach, and walking to breakfast or dinner in the village. We love the fact that it is tucked away in such a quiet neighborhood on Palm Island.

What makes this house unique

The open floor plan is perfect for small families like ours who like to sit together and watch a movie after a long day at the beach. Or, if we choose, we can each find a room in which to lose ourselves in a good book. When we're not walking to the village for breakfast, we love to enjoy a hot cup of coffee early in the morning in the dew covered lanai.

Great house, great location

We've stayed in several houses on Siesta Key over the years and this is one is outstanding. Myles and Barbie were a pleasure to work with and the house exceeded my expectations. Plenty of room for a family of four and perfectly positioned for a walk to the beach or a bike ride to the village.

Great house! No stairs!

My family has spent several weeks at this rental (2013 and 2014) and we will go back for many more. The place is the perfect distance from the beach and main avenue, so it is quiet day and night, but it is an easy walk (if you have lots of "stuff" like me, take a little wagon with you). We love the large kitchen, nice size bedrooms, and the extra big living room away from the TV, and no TVs in the 2 secondary bedrooms. The owners are very attentive, caring, and honest folks. The Village is fun for all ages and the french cafe has great crepes (our favorite place to eat). At night, there are lots of choices for live music and you don't have to worry about parking because you can just call for one of the free rides (tip the driver, please) offered by the local business and the city. The public beach with lifeguards is a short 5-minute-drive and there is plenty of parking there, but we prefer to walk to the beach access down the street and enjoy being able to walk back and forth for "refills" :)

Homey Place to Stay in Quiet Neighborhood

The house is an easy walking-distance to the beach and the village. The beach is clean and beautiful and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a nice banquet area to dine in. We like the large open areas and all the windows that allow for the sunlight to come in. There is plenty of parking space as there are 2 driveways. Also, the huge screened linai is a plus.

beautiful beaches!!!

This beach house is my favorite getaway for my family! It's located in the perfect spot... walking distance to the beach and to the village. It offers plenty of space for my 3 children and is decorated with the perfect beach feel. It offers all the amenities necessary to enjoy a week at one of the best beaches in the country!

Comfortable, convenient, and beautiful

Our family of 5 used this home for a week in September of 2013. It felt like home! Spacious and very classy "beach" themes throughout the home. The kitchen was fully equipped for meals at the home, yet close enough to walk to restaurants if we chose to do so. With 3 children, having a washer and dryer available was wonderful. And the screened back patio with table and grill were wonderful for relaxing outdoors. We wanted to see the sights, but we were so comfortable, we rarely left the beach house!

Only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Siesta Key Beach Access #10, and another 5 minutes to the amenity-filled municipal beach where you can enjoy hot food, cold drinks, ice cream, bathroom facilities and much more. Also, we are a quiet and scenic 15 minute walk to Siesta Key village. There you will find the area's best restaurants, beach shops, and groceries.
