I am a retired mother and grandmother and have been visiting the Island for the past 16 years. I have lived here for four of those and have a good knowledge of Cyprus and the local areas.
I have a very friendly dog called Betty (who is seven years) and 2 cats , I take Betty on mountain and coastal walks in the cooler months.
My bungalow is situated in the lower part of Karsiyaka on the edge of the village. It overlooks the sea and has stunning mountain views in the background. The garden is private, well maintained and picturesque, with the use of a large paddling pool, pizza oven and bbq, plus a gazebo providing ample shade and comfort. I am within easy reach of the local bus route, beaches and restaurants and local shops which provide all the necessary daily requirements.
I live on the premises with my dog and 2 cats , You will be supplied with a key and can come and go as you please . You have a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom .
There are various things to do in the area if you get bored sunbathing. Many local restaurants and hotels have swimming pools which are available for you to use and there is a Water Park in Lapta (the next village). The Silver Rocks Restaurant is one of these, which offers the use of the pool, pool bar along with access to the sea and fine dining. The Cabin Beach is also a good bet with its safe child friendly beach, great food and friendly atmosphere.
There is a local market every Saturday morning (again in Lapta) which sells handmade crafts and food. For those more enthusiastic, there’s the extensive mountain range to explore.
Car hire is not essential but if you want to explore the local area it’s recommended
