An exclusive, newly refurbished 5-bedroom townhouse in South West London.

The house is located inside the famous Harrods Depository on the banks of the Thames in Barnes, one of London's most exclusive areas. The newly-refurbished house has 5 bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 10 people, and features a large designer kitchen with the latest professional appliances (a treat for any chef!), dining area & lounge, living room, and study area, as well as a secluded private garden, and a roof terrace with beautiful views on to the historic development.

Popular with celebrities looking to break away from the spotlight, this is also the perfect retreat for those looking to hold a special event or private meeting, or families who want to experience London as a local, away from the hustle & bustle of the city while being only minutes away from its centre!

Guest Access

Guests will have the full house to themselves, including the private garden and roof terrace. As well as use of everything in the house (e.g. fast WiFi, televisions, Nespresso machine, computer), guests will have access to the leisure centre, which features an indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam room.

I am currently travelling and exploring the world, so the Joselle is helping to manage the property. She will be the one to respond to you, meet you upon arrival and look after you during your stay.

We can organise transportation for you to and from the house, as well as making any other travel arrangements throughout your stay.

We understand that many of our guests want to relax, so we try not to disturb you during your stay. But if you have any questions or issues, we are always just a phone call / message away, and are more than happy to help at any time.

And if you have any special requests - such as grocery shopping or even a fantastic private chef who cook up a sensational meal for a special occasion - please just ask! Most requests can be satisfied: we'll certainly do our best!

The Neighbourhood

Barnes is one of London's best kept secrets. It feels like you're in the countryside, even though you are just minutes away from both the airport and Cental London!

The house is located in a gated development with plenty of green recreational areas. Upon passing through the main gates (just after a beautiful domed fountain), you will immediately appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the development, which has direct access on to the banks the Thames (perfect for a morning jog down to Hammersmith or Putney!). All the residents and staff are very friendly: there's a real sense of community here.

There are some lovely local delis, coffee shops, restaurants, a local grocery stors, hairdressers and even nail & beauty salons - all within a 5-minute walking distance of the house.

While Barnes is renowned for being one of the greenest and most peaceful parts of London, once you cross Hammersmith Bridge towards Hammersmith (a short walk from the house), London's famous bars, theatres, nightclubs and great parks such as Holland Park, Hyde Park and Kensington palace are only about 15-20 minutes via local transport.

There is also easy access to other Royal parks such as Richmond Park and Hampton Court, and of course Twickenham Stadium for the rugby, as well as The All England Lawn Tennis Club for Wimbledon. Chelsea and Fulham Football club are also less than 2 miles away.

Getting Around

On exiting the development, you can either take a bus (every 2 mins) over Hammersmith Bridge, from where you have access to 3 different underground (Tube) lines - the District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City underground - as well as buses, which go all over London.

The house is located about 25 minutes from Heathrow by taxi (we can organise transportation to and from the airport if required). Or if you're travelling with your own car, there is 1 available car parking space in front of the house.

We always show consideration for our guests and ask for mutual consideration to keep the house clean and tidy:

- No pets in the house

- No smoking in the house

- Please warn about guests not on booking

- No events in the house prior to agreement with us, please.

- No more than 4 people may use the leisure centre at one time.

- Strictly no house parties...this will result in immediate removal

Please note: all our guests must sign a standard rental agreement, fill out a damage deposit form and provide a copy of photo ID upon check-in. Those guests wishing to use the leisure centre must also sign a health & safety form.

We are Iliya and Dmitry - two brothers who would be delighted to welcome you to our stunning house! We are currently travelling and exploring the world, so Joselle is helping to manage the property. She will be the one to respond to you, meet you and look after you during your stay.

Barnes is a lovely part of London - minutes away from the city centre, yet it feels as though you're in the countryside. Wake up to the singing of birds and the smell of fresh-cut grass, before crossing Hammersmith Bridge to immerse yourself in the bustle of the one of London's best-kept secrets!

We are passionate about hospitality, and manage a number of real estate properties in London. We have access to some great houses, but take our advice: few are better than this one!

You will be staying in a gated, secure development, with a private leisure centre (gym, heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room), meeting room, recreational areas, and stunning views of the Thames.

The house itself is one of a limited few, with a private garden and roof terrace, as well as numerous balconies. It has just been refurbished and is simply incomparable to any of the other houses around.

This place is very very nice.

My family of six stayed in this wonderful place for a summer vacation of several days. It is A gated community. The rooms are very nice. The living space flowed beautifully for our family, with an open arrangement between the kitchen and the living area. I would not hesitate to visit this location again. Also, access to the athletic facility in the community area was a very nice bonus.

Excellent accommodation

Could have summer quilts on beds, but other than that a really lovely property to stay in. We were a family party and had lots of space to gather/or be apart as a group.

A house in the suburbs

The luxury family friendly house with 5 bedrooms was just that - very family friendly. We had lots of room for 3 generations to spread out with 2 TVs and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is especially nice, and we used it twice to fix dinner at home for the children. The air conditioning was a life saver, as it was 90F on the day we arrived. However, all the bedrooms are not air conditioned, leaving one with the choice of who gets to sleep in a sauna. Luckily, it cooled down and even rained a few days later. It is quite a ways from town, so it took at least 40 minutes by tube to get to our destination, and we didn't want to leave early as there was the rush hour to contend with. The house is lovely and the area is quite nice. Would I book so far out of town again? I don't know. Also, there are some details that could make the stay easier. There needs to be a place to hang the bath towels. There needs to be hooks in the bath to hang toiletry bags. There was lots of counter space, but the showers are small. It would be nice to have a chest of drawers so one could unpack and not live partly out of a suitcase. On the other hand, it was very comfortable and the children were very happy. If the distance to town doesn't bother you, then this would be an excellent home base while in London.

Beautiful house in Excellent Location

This house is on 4 floors; be prepared for stairs! The kitchen/living space has ample room for everyone and the patio offers a very natural and quiet area to congregate in good weather with the patio doors opening the entire width of the kitchen. The king-bedroom on the 2nd Floor with bathroom and separate living room opposite does not have its own closet, but there are 2 closets in the Master bedroom on the 3rd floor. On the 4th floor is a glass-walled bedroom with private rooftop balcony/patio, with beautiful views. During our May visit the stairwell and 4th Floor room is very hot, despite an A/C unit in the room.

The gated private Harrods Village community is within 5 minutes proximity to bus stops, a Tesco Express (for all your essentials), The Bridge pub (highly recommend) and excellent San Remo italian eatery. King Street and Hammersmith Station offer plenty of other shopping (Krispy Kreme and sweet-vendors) conveniences nearby. The tube is a leisurely 15 minute walk and in the rain, use the Gett app to call for cabs. You may find some black cabs available on the main road, but I found it more reliable to "order" one.

For car rental, King Street has an Enterprise location. Call and ask to do the pickup/dropoff service which is not advertised on their website. While close/convenient to the House, their service is not as fast as airport-outlets so a pickup/drop off might be faster.

The house has a printer so you can easily print out your theatre tickets (highly recommend Wicked!), Euro Tunnel and boarding passes etc.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend this house. Make sure the bedroom setup works for your party. 1st Floor (Ground Floor) has single-size day-beds w/toilet; 2nd Floor has a King bed w/shower/tub & toilet (no Closet) with separate living room across the hall; 3rd Floor has King Bed master (shower, bath & toilet and 2 closets) with two single day-beds across the hall with a shower & toilet en suite. The 4th Floor has Queen-bed (no bathroom) and will be much warmer than other bedrooms in the summer months.

Loved the location, proximity to Heathrow, Hammersmith Station - only 30 minutes to St Pancras for Eurostar. If you do travel to Paris get The Big Bus tour tickets near Gare du Nord.

Research before you go. It costs around 28 Euros from Gare du Nord to the Eiffel Tower which is unecessary.

Very nice, what you see is what you get. Photos are very accurate. We loved it.

Eight of us from the States, 2 men and 6 women, enjoyed the house very much. It was a good jumping off base for all the London sights with the District Line. The house is appointed beautifully and tastefully. The kitchen supplied us with everything we needed to cook. This is a vacation home so we would not have expected to have such a completely stocked kitchen. The crockery and glasses were of such quality that we paid special attention to handling them. After we Googled the replacement costs we went to TK Maxx to buy cheap wine glasses to use in place of the beautiful glasses. We were very comfortable coming "home" every night. Some used the pool facilities and raved about the condition. The only changes I would offer are: more hairdryers with outlets next to a mirror (6 women), and the use of beach towels for the pool. Joselle was helpful in all ways needed. I contacted here a couple of times and she responded immediately. Most importantly the beds were very comfortable in every room we used. It is a solid 5 stars and I would not hesitate to use it again.
