Overview

About the property

Norman Rockwell would love the neighborhood.

Remodeled 1905 2000 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2-story, bright, plant-filled home, close-in historic peaceful neighborhood at Elizabeth Park. This is my home that I rent out on occasion. Please note that it is a very nicely remodeled home with the rate set accordingly. I know tastes vary but if you need an inexpensive crash pad this will not work for you. Don't worry, there are plenty of choices in Bellingham, you will find what you need just give it time.

Music in the park on summer Thursdays. Walk to restaurants/bars/grocery.

Beautiful 750 sq ft 2nd story, master suite with 11 ft ceiling.

Two bedrooms on first floor. Living room has 10' ceiling with exposed beam. Parlor also has 10' ceiling. Fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, toaster oven, espresso machine, Keurig coffee maker, WOK, bread maker, and more. Stacked washer/dryer on back porch. Outside there is a fire ring for roasting marshmallows, a three burner propane BBQ, sitting front porch, at this bright and sunny home.

Note that the cleaning fee is higher for stays of a month or more - $150.

A SPECIAL OFFER - Fresh baked scones for breakfast or high tea!! Really! A neighbor's daughter offers to bake fresh scones for you (for a small fee). Her number is on the information sheet at the house. Call her to make arrangements for baking, recipe, and delivery.

You are less than a block from the 100 year old park.

10-15 minute walk to center of downtown.

10-15 minute walk to the marina.

5 minute walk to Broadway (bluff) park with view of the marina and islands.

Small fenced yard that is mostly flower beds.

No Smoking an anywhere on the property. STRICTLY NO SMOKING. $250 cleaning charge for any smoking.

Convenient location

  • 4 of 5

We had a nice stay here the weekend of the Bellingham Marathon. Full bed in the upstairs room, futon and air bed in the downstairs rooms. Nice outdoor area out back. Walking distance to some fun brew pubs.

Beautiful, cozy neighborhood setting abundant with classic charm just blocks from food and parks

  • 5 of 5

My family as well as myself were as comfortable as if we were in one of our own homes for a visit. Great neighborhood for walks and quick trips to the store. We found the list if local establishments with included comments very helpful. Super convenient location to the airport(for my Mom) as well as downtown and the college. Going to an early morning graduation was effortless. We truly enjoyed all of the amenities including having a backyard BBQ. I look forward to planning another trip to Bellingham soon. It could not have been anymore perfect.

Thank You.

Perfect house!!!

  • 5 of 5

You will say out loud "oh this is just great!" We were four adults and two small dogs who instantly settled in. The park on the corner Elizabeth Street Park is just lovely. Dennis has made available not just a rental house but his home. We felt like we were truly his guests!!! Perfectly furnished & the master suite upstairs....wow! Thanks Dennis & HomeAway - this was a great experience!!! The Callarmans.
