Explore Portland & the Maine coast from this conveniently located 1920's apartment in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and minutes from I-295. This first floor apartment has loads of retro charm + everything you need for a comfortable stay, no matter the season.
We strive to provide you, our guest, with a 5-star experience that meets or exceeds your expectations, so PLEASE read the entire description to ensure that our place is a good fit for your needs.
The apartment is in a charming three story 1920s-era building and has a mid-century modern vibe with fresh paint, new carpeting, recently updated heating, a fully furnished kitchen, and super-comfortable bedding.
In the bedrooms you’ll find the two queen beds: one with a Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress, the other, a Beautyrest luxury firm pillow top. Additionally, a queen size air mattress can be set up in the living room to comfortably accommodate two more guests.
A fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher and washer and dryer will make you feel like you're at home (in a good way, of course!). Bathroom amenities include fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and magnifying makeup mirror.
Free STREET parking is in front or on the side of the property. Please do not park in the driveway in front of the garage.
You will have use of the entire first floor apartment, accessible from the front entrance. You will need to be able to climb stairs in order to enter the apartment.
We assume you're here to enjoy Portland, and not our company (though we’re happy to advise on places to visit and fabulous restaurants to try). To that end, we provide our guests with the ability to self check-in with a keyless front entry accessible anytime after 4pm.
Have questions? We're as close as the Homeaway messaging app. Or give us a call if it's urgent. We respect our guests' privacy, but are usually available should any issues arise. If we are out of town during your stay, we will of course arrange for someone to cover for us.
Downtown Portland/Old Port is a $7-8 Uber ride away; the Portland International Jetport is about a 15-minute drive. There is also a bus that runs from Washington Avenue to the downtown area.
Other things to note:
We have lovely long-term tenants who live on the second and third floors of the building. Please do not disturb them with loud music/noise after 10PM.
Our property is located in Portland’s East Deering neighborhood. It’s close to the Old Port/downtown area and convenient to I-295. If you feel that driving a few minutes to the center of town will be an inconvenience and your review will reflect this, please consider booking a property closer to town.
