Kitchen with microwave, fridge with freezer, toaster electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment has outdoor pool shared and parking.
Air conditioning / heating, TV, DVD player and audio CD. Linen and towels provided. Sa Coma is situated 1km. of Cala Millor and has a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for children. Close to shops, restaurants, riding horses and golf courses.
Firstly, the apartment was lovely. Very Clean, well maintained and homely. The bath towels lovely and fluffy! The cot for our baby was lovely and all linen provided, the only thing that would have been helpful was a highchair.
The balcony was a great area to sit in the evenings and it was safe for the children to be around because it had lockable sliding windows.
Pilar and Tony were so helpful and really welcoming and were there if we needed them.
Our family had a great time in Sa Coma, the weather was amazing and very hot every day. We took our 3 year old and 6 Month old baby and found plenty of shady areas for them so that they could keep out of the sun if needed.
The pool belonging to the apartments was beautifully clean and so quiet, sometimes we were the only family there!
Would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Pilar and Tony.
Having recently arrived back from our stay in Majorca we are already planning next years, and we will definitely be staying in this apartment again. We have stayed in many appartments during holidays and this was by far the best. We are a family of 2 adults, a 15 year old, 10 year old and a 2.5 year old so usually we are under eachothers feet all holiday. As this apartment was so spacious we had a much more relaxing time, the two bedrooms and loads of storage space were excellent, the lounge has lots of seating and the kitchen was home from home, we made real use of the dishwasher and I managed to get some of the washing done so we did not have as much when we arrived home. The balcony is massive and the sliding windows are a great idea for safety, especially with a little one rushing around! It was clean and tidy when we arrived, and it would have been nice for a cleaner to maybe come just once during the middle of the stay. The actual location was excellent and although there was a busy hotel next door the noise was not an issue for us. The pool was really quiet and having allocated sun loungers was a luxury, no getting up early to place towels down! The apartment is near to the shops, near a large supermarket and very near to the beach so if you do not hire a car, you will have everything you need right on your doorstep. My mum and dad were staying in a nearby hotel and my dad is in a wheelchair, the access was fine for him and the lift, although a tight squeeze was fine. The owner Pilar was lovely and very helpful, there was no hastle with booking and she remained very patient even when my bank took ages to transfer the deposit! I would definately recommend a bar on the same road called 'Atlantic' we ate there on several occasions and both the food and hospitality were excellent. Oh and last thing was that we took our laptop for our 15 year old son and it was heaven, we had wireless broadband at the apartment so he could chat with his mates back home and listen to his music etc, leaving us in peace. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and there was nothing we could have moaned about. Thanks to Pilar and Tony for our lovely stay, see you next year!
A good all round comfortable appartment for the 5 of us. Clean and Homely. A mirror is needed in the second bedroom as is some curtains in the lounge for the person who sleeps on the pull out bed. The pool area was clean but the smell from the resturant that backs onto it wasnt good. It was also noisy from the hotel next door so you couldnt relax by the pool. Also lack of sunbeds. There were 5 adults in our party but only 3 sunbeds and no umbrella which is needed.
We travelled to Sa Coma using viajes-sometimes transfers - they provided a minibus, met us at the airport and transported the 5 of us there and back with great efficiency and a great price.
The apartment is well located for the beach (2 min walk) and local shops including a bigish supermarket (hypermarket) about 5 mins walk away (opens until 21:30 cept Sundays which is earlier). There is also another local supermarket (1 min walk) that has a bakery which opens at 8.30am.
The apartment itself was very clean. It has quite a traditional feel to it with a slightly eclectic collection of furniture. There is a great balcony overlooking the sea, with seating area for dining - very nice. The kitchen could have done with a few extra items, like a cheese grater and colander - although we managed to cope. There are also items like tv, sat, dvd, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, great fridge which makes it more home-like. There are also beach type items which seem to have been collected which is also quite handy.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are all good with plenty of storage. My eldest son was on a pull-out bed in the living room and he said it was a little uncomfortable.
The apartment block looks a little tired - some of the other newer blocks look smarter. There is a nice pool area outside and numbered loungers (with cushions in the apartment) - no fighting or queuing (or both ;).
One of the great plus points is the aircon - even though it was the tail end of Aug, it was nice to have this for the evening heat and humidity.
The beach is very long and very nice - good sand and space for non rented loungers. The sea is super - warm, clean and great for snorkeling.
If you are in to running, it is very popular from about 7am and a nice run along the beach promenade (just don't trip like I did over the wooden bridge between Sa Coma and S'Illot). You can also hack the other way up a dirt track/hill towards a fortified building (with a canon) and then on down in to Calla Millor.
The slight issue I had, which my kids didn't have, was the Gran Coma hotel next door. They have 'entertainment' on from about 10.30 in the morning and at intermittent times during the day and evening. I am now fully conversant with Agado and 'big fish, little fish'.
The owners are very nice and accommodating - even provided me with wifi access.
All in all, I'd recommend this apartment and Sa Coma.
Sa Coma, 1km; Cala Millor and 7km. Son Servera has a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for children. Close to shops and restaurants. Riding horses 50m. and 4 golf courses in an area of 15km.
Other Activities: Spa.
