Much enjoyed September stay

  • 5 of 5

Doug and Michelle gave us a warm welcome on arrival. We also made two doggie friends Gloria and dexter. The Barn was clean and tidy with plenty of clean towels. This place had great character with its timber ceilings and we loved the electric fire, which gave it that cosy feeling. The barn Was in an ideal location as central to surrounding areas such as, perranporth Newquay Bodmin and much more.

I would definitely recommend this property if you like the quiet relaxing countryside but just far enough to travel to other attractions in Cornwell.

Great cottage, Great location

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely week, it is well equipped and has everything you will need. The owners were wonderful and very welcoming. Set in a lovely peaceful location you wouldn't know that you are close to the A30. Great base for exploring as all parts of Cornwall within an hours drive. Due to how great it was we will be looking to book up again for next year once the dates are available .

A great location for exploring Cornwall

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in the Barn for many years on our annual visit to Cornwall. Michelle and Doug are always very friendly and welcoming and happy to help with anything. The Barn is always clean and tidy and this year with new heating was very warm and cosy too. It is a great location for exploring Cornwall - North, South, East and West as it is close to main routes such as the A30 but is also secluded in the middle of the countryside. We would recommend the Barn as a great holiday base.

Lovely Cornish getaway in a super cottage

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay in this cottage. It was large and spacious with plenty of room for our family of 6! We loved the location as we could easily get to all our favourite places, such as Tintagel, Padstow and Perranporth as well as easy access to Newquay. Great facilities where we could cook for ourselves and had everything we needed. What we liked most about this was the chance to stay in an authentic Cornish cottage and enjoy getting away from it all.

We have just returned from this lovely Cottage/Barn. Its comfortable, clean & has all you need for a holiday. It is so peaceful & relaxing.

Doug & Michelle are extremely good hosts & we recommend using their local knowledge to visit restaurants & sights which we found so useful & visited places we probably wouldnt have found out about without them telling us & we would certainly have missed out !!

The location was perfect as we noted in another review that as it is centrally placed we where within an hour of anywhere that was worth a visit, ie St Michaels Mount, Trerice,Cotehele,Lanyhydrock,St Mawes, Minack Theatre & Padstow but only 10 mins drive to Newquay with shops including a large Morrisons.

Really hoping we can return soon!!
