Lovely cottage, brilliant location

  • 5 of 5

This is a really good property, spotlessly clean, well equipped and lovely and warm. The garden opens out directly onto the dunes, with fantastic walks. We stayed as a couple with our Labrador. We booked the cottage this time of the year so we could see the seals coming onto the beach at Horsey ready to pup; it is always a fantastic sight, then onto Poppylands for a brilliant breakfast with great service. I was really pleased to see Winterton had erected signs to remind people to “clear up” after their dogs, it seems to be working, as the dog mess had greatly reduced from earlier this year. Overall, we had a brilliant week and have already 3 visits next year.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Amazing location property is in a quiet area backing straight onto the dunes lovely sized garden with plenty of facilities the inside is modern and clean with everything you could want. The welcome pack is a real treat and a lovely touch, would return? Absolutely in a heartbeat, this is our second time there and would love to make it a third but unfortunately someone else has already booked the week we want so a stay in Admiral cottage next year, I'm sure it will meet the high standard that is Beachside as it's owned by the same person. To sum up Loved it.

Gloria and Anne, and our dogs Poppy and Baloo

Lovely cottage perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Easy parking, then a lovely welcome pack awaited us, which we dived into straight away. Apart from the wine, where we allowed a decent interval, just for appearances.Well we did have a long journey from West Sussex! Ellie our Pointer bounded straight out into the generous and secure garden where she spent a great deal of the week, oddly fascinated by bees pollinating the Fuschia bush. Simply opening the back gate to walk the dog over the dunes to the huge sandy beach made it even more special. The cottage proved very comfortable with all our needs catered for. Pub, fish n chip shop, post office and general store just a few mins walk away. What else do you need? We certainly intend to return to Beachside Cottage. Now please!

We all loved beachside cottage. It is beautiful, clean and has a lovely garden.

We all love staying in beachside cottage. It is in the prefect location. It has everything we need for the week. You really do feel welcome with welcome pack when you arrive. Only two negatives. My husband and son say they found the mattresses uncomfortable. Unfortunately this time we stayed was a bit spoilt by the noisy neighbours. I understand that babies sometimes cry but the boys screaming and shouting in the garden at 7am waking us up wasn't very nice on our holiday.

As usual GREAT

  • 5 of 5

This was our third visit to Beachside myself my wife and just over 2 yrs old English Springer Spaniel *Bertie* Once again were just so lucky with the weather ,Our arrival day Saturday 17th June the Sunday and Monday were blistering hot ,the rest of the week was nice and warm and to be honest a bit more comfortable .Lots of time on the beach and sand dunes which to a full of life Springer is paradise.

You cannot fault the cottage and its location. The facilities once again nothing to say apart from brilliant .The only downside and whinge was we only had a week. We will be back for sure.
