Well kept home in cul de sac featuring new appliances, quiet, safe neighborhood. 950 square feet upstairs with laundry and bath downstairs. Large back yard that is fenced, but one section is only 48 inches high. Hardwood floors. Master bedroom has plush queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed. The third bedroom has a twin and also functions as an office.
A backyard deck is off dining room and shaded with a huge maple tree. There is an outdoor table with 4 chairs, on the back deck. BBQ available.
Merle Hay Mall is nearby with plenty of the usual restaurants, Target, Younkers, etc.

Very quiet location. Near bike trail where you can access over 65 miles of trail. Merle Hay Mall is about 2 miles away. Franklin Library and Senior Center is about 1 mile away. Farmers market in Beaverdale occurs ever Tuesday night in summer. Valley Junction farmers market is on Thursdays and Saturday morning has the largest market downtown on court avenue.
This is a wonderful VRBO property! It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in a central part of the metro area. Susan is fantastic to work with and very flexible. The house is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with necessities. I highly recommend booking this property!

We had a very nice stay at this home for 2 nights. Communication with Susan was always prompt and helpful. The home itself had everything we needed from extra bedding, a cot for one of our children, extra soap for the shower, oils and spices in the fully stocked kitchen & a note sharing local stores and places we might need during our stay. Our 6 kids had a nice time playing in the fenced in back yard. It was clean and the perfect place to come back to each night. The neighborhood is safe and close to plenty of stores and restaurants. Thank you, Susan for everything. If we are back in Des Moines again we will definitely plan to stay here.
I loved this property. It was on a nice street and in a neighborhood where we felt safe. I enjoyed having the back deck and the grill to relax at. Susan had everything there and ready for us! She left a ton of helpful things such as soaps, shampoos, and toothpaste. We also appreciated having a variety of pots and pans to cook with and she had the basics provided for us (cooking oil, salt, pepper, ketchup, etc). That was great because we totally forgot to pick those up! If I come to Des Moines for my event again next year, I will definitley try to stay with Susan again!
All communication with Susan was great! She was prompt and very helpful. It was so refreshing to arrive and feel like we were at home. Our boys enjoyed having their own rooms and so did we :) I also enjoyed mornings on the back deck with my coffee...shaded and peaceful. Thank you Susan!
NW Des Moines location with easy access to I-80 and I-35. Home is not wheelchair accessible. Has small front deck facing East and larger Deck off dining room. The back yard is fenced and large with huge maple trees shading the yard and deck.
Local Beaverdale farmer's market is about 2 miles away on Tuesday night during the summer. Valley Junction farmer's market is on Thursdays and features live music, local shops and art galleries. The large Saturday Court Avenue market is downtown and was featured as one of the best in the nation in a national culinary magazine.
