Well kept home in cul de sac, quiet, safe neighborhood.
950 square feet upstairs with laundry and bath downstairs.
3 bedrooms and 1 bath are on main floor with kitchen, living room and dining room.
Master bedroom has plush queen bed.
The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed.
The third bedroom has a twin and also functions as an office.
Garage is not available at this time.
Large back yard that is fenced, but one section is only 48 inches high.
A private backyard deck is off dining room and shaded with a huge maple tree. There is an outdoor table with 4 chairs, on the back deck. BBQ available. Wooden stairway of approximately 12 steps gets you to the back yard.
Linens, dishwashing, laundry and soaps and other expendable supplies such as paper towels, napkins and toilet paper are provided.
WIFI is provided, but cable tv or dish is excluded at this time. Smart tv is available with connections to Netflix, etc.
Professional retired woman, who spends part time in Montana with family. Love animals, and tends toward the artsy style. My home is eclectic and changes frequently. Grew up in Montana, spent time in Chattanooga for work. Lived in this location for more than 12 years.

Very quiet safe location. Near bike trail where you can access over 65 miles of trail. Merle Hay Mall is about 2 miles away. Franklin Library and Senior Center is about 1 mile away. Farmers market in Beaverdale occurs ever Tuesday night in summer. Valley Junction farmers market is on Thursdays and Saturday morning has the largest market downtown on court avenue.
The property owner, Susan was very helpful and attentive to our travel needs. The property is located just a short drive to many popular Des Moines locations. The only problem was we couldn't stay longer.
This is a wonderful VRBO property! It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in a central part of the metro area. Susan is fantastic to work with and very flexible. The house is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with necessities. I highly recommend booking this property!

My home is in the NW Des Moines area with easy access to I-80 and I-35. Within 2 miles you will find the Merle Hay Mall and just about every type of franchise fast food restaurants known to me. It is not wheelchair accessible and has a lot of stairs. As you can see from the pictures there is a small front deck facing East and larger Deck off dining room in the back of the house. The deck is completely shaded by a large maple tree and is almost a full story off the ground. Wooden staircase leads to the back yard. The back yard is fenced and large with huge maple trees shading the yard and deck.
Local Beaverdale farmer's market is about 2 miles away on Tuesday night during the summer. Valley Junction features antique shops, restaurants, local gift, clothing and bead shops and art galleries.
During the summer the large Saturday Court Avenue market is downtown and was featured as one of the best in the nation in a national culinary magazine.
Downtown is 5 minutes away using I235.
