We rented the cottage for a week long vacation. We had a total of five people (2 adults and 3 kids). The cottage has 2 bedrooms, a foldout couch and an additional folding bed, more than enough beds for all of us. The cottage is clean and the owner provides all of the basic necessities other than food. The cottage has a great view of Sodus Bay. The Sodus Bay Lighthouse is right across the street, along with a beautiful park right on the bay. The backyard is large and has plenty of room for kids to run around and play games. The beach is a five minute drive away. The owner lives in a nearby house and was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time staying at this fantastic property and honestly we could not review it better. The owners thought of everything (seriously everything). The place was spotless, well-appointed and really great. The owners were wonderful hosts.
We were conveniently located near the beach, across the street from the historic lighthouse - just a really great location. We are already looking to stay there again next year.
We were awed by the beautiful cottage house that we stayed in. Everything was in its place, and we loved the second floor bedrooms and the spiral staircase. The owners were very attentive to our needs. The cottage was right across from the old lighthouse and park, and we walked down to the beach everyday, which was a short 10 minute walk. The neighborhood was quiet, the sunsets were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend this property and would stay here again.
This cottage is very charming, located in a perfect place. Short walk to the beach, town, and the light houses, yet it is perfectly located so it is quiet and private. The cottage has everything you can think of, and is just great. We loved it and were in awe of its cuteness. The spiral staircase with the built in hutch in the wall on way up were awesome. There are 2 patios for your outdoor time, one with a fire pit and an outside game, plenty of seating and plenty of parking. The most awesome sun rises can be seen from the front of the cottage, loved waking up to the sun shining in. The owners are nearby for anything you need, questions you may have and are very nice. I loved hearing about the history of the house and grounds. The cottage is very roomy and so nicely done.
