About Bernadette

Family Holiday House purchased by two sisters from Sydney. We are hosting due to the amazing opportunity to share the getaway from city life and getting in touch with nature is so easy and there is so much variety. The first walk down the lake will re-set your mood and then its a matter of planning which beach to go to - surfing, fishing, bush walks down to the beach or large beach walks either north (to Budegwoi) or south (to the Entrance).

Bernadette purchased this house in 2014

Why Bernadette chose Toukley

Its the right getaway formula - couples can have quiet privacy (the area is whisper quiet) or families can have quality time with each other away from distractions. Its a cute simple house, comfy soft furnishings and you will find after your rental it will cost very very little to enjoy your stay here. As said - the best things in life are free and all day at a beach or bushwalking or golfing or fishing......

What makes this house unique

Its your launchpad to the beaches and coastal area plus you come back to a very comfortable abode with outdoor get togethers and then do it all again.

We enjoyed our stay.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay and have rated the property accordingly. It was retro, the location was perfect for our needs and the kitchen was well stocked. Our small dog loved the freedom of the fully fenced garden.

It would have rated a 5 * had it not been for a few issues such as the kitchen cleaning, bedroom window blinds and TV remotes.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... we have fixed the blinds and changed the TV remote batteries (!!) and will pick up our game on kitchen cleaning for sure. Glad you guys and your pup enjoyed the stay - hope to see you again. Bernadette & Sharon

The house is lovely and welcoming, very spacious and even better that we could safely accommodate our dog!!

The house adequately met the needs of our family. And communication with Bernadette was very quick and helpful.

Affordable and great location

  • 4 of 5

Quick response and easy communication with the owner. Very good and quite location, close to lake with walk/bicycle path and playground. Nice backyard to chill out, sipping wine/beer while kids just running around. Having our family dog to come, is a big plus for us! A little down side was the bed linens look a bit old. But overall, that doesnt bother us much. We would defintely come back.. Thanks for having us

Owner's Response: Great feedback on the experience and we agree this is a totally chill-out place to be. We have now replaced the blanket covers with new plump covers so thanks for the prompt. We wash everything in our linen - every time - so overtime the covers probably did look old from all our washing! Happy Days...
