About this property

This vacation home is located right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on beautiful Lake Buchanan. It is in a quiet and gated property and provides a relaxing environment, perfect for a couple’s trip, a family reunion, a business get together or a friends get away trip.
This is a family friendly waterfront property that offers 2 other lake houses, a “3 Bed 2 Bath House (fits 10 people)" and a “1 Bed 1 Bath House (fits 4 people)", that can be rented individually or together as a duo or trio to better serve our guests’ group size. The property also offers plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats.
This lake house is a spacious 3 Bed 2 Full Bath home. Bedroom #1 has a full bed, bedroom #2 a queen bed/crib, bedroom #3 (master) has a queen bed/ bunk bed and a queen air mattress for extra guests. Bathroom #1 has a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. Bathroom #2 (master) has a large tub, shower, toilet and 2 sinks.
It offers a spacious living room with a couch, a loveseat and 2 chairs with ottomans, a wood burning fireplace and a 50-inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player and Dish Cable TV. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washer & dryer. We also offer Unlimited Verizon Internet and board games for the raining days. Outside guests can enjoy the shaded wraparound 2-story deck that offers a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
The house capacity is 8 guests (adults and children) comfortably sleeping in beds. If more accommodations are needed, guests can rent one of the other lake houses on the property or pay an extra guest fee of $25 per guest/per night, up to 2 extra guests and bring them along.
The property also offers plenty of outdoor space with shade trees, outdoor seating, hammock, picnic tables, fire pit, horseshoes, and bean bag toss game. A 317 Feet lighted & covered concrete fishing pier, sandy beach, 3 one seater kayaks with paddles/life vests and boat tour to the waterfalls. The lake is swimming friendly and gets deeper gradually so it is perfect for small kids.

Please note, Lake Buchanan is not a constant level lake, and at the time of your visit the water level may differ from what is depicted on the listing.

Texas Hot

Really enjoyed our stay and property manager was continually available for any issues, which we didn’t really have. The water is currently much lower than the picture portrays making fishing much more difficult, yet you now have a private beach perfect for a family with dogs. Would highly recommend for a nice getaway. Take the time to tour Longhorn Cavern and jump off the rock at Inks Lake State Park.

Spring break Cabin

I rented this property for a Spring Break Getaway for my boyfriend and our kiddos. We had a great time . The owners were very nice and left the lights on outside so that we could check in and find the place after hours. The house has a large living area to relax in and the house was decorated cute. Plenty of sleep space and not crampt. The kitchen had everything that you could need to cook a nice meal. The outside was amazing and relaxing. Horseshoes, swings, playground, sand volleyball court, kayaks, you name it... Thank yall for having us! We will definiately be back again.

Loved our stay here!

Sooo happy we found these wonderful hosts and awesome property! ! Initially we booked another property and upon arrival we were immensely disappointed to the point of cancellation within the first 10 minutes. Having no where to stay that night we were frantically searching available listings and came upon this one. We reached out to Wiviane and she was over the top accommodating and easy to communicate with. We were able to get in that evening and she even invited us to come and enjoy the beach while she finished cleaning to prepare for our short notice arrival. The lake was low as they have had no rain but the water is still accessible with a sandy beach. We were very happy with the accommodations and could not have asked for more. Will definitely be back!

Great family weekend!

We were looking for a waterfront house to enjoy all things on the lake from a beautiful view to a swimming beach to fishing, all just footsteps away from our sleeping quarters and this place delivered! The home was spacious for our family of 4, but we spent the majority of our time on the beautiful fishing pier, the covered deck or down on the water. We loved grilling all of our meals outside, eating on the picnic tables, playing horseshoes, swimming and fishing! It was the perfect quiet escape from the city for family fun! We would definitely recommend this place to others. The hosts were so sweet and made us feel very welcome.

Mike is 100% Texan. He grew up in Giddings, out in the country. He is a Jet Boat Mechanic; he builds jet pumps for performance boats.
Wiviane was born in Brazil, and she is a paramedic. They both love the lake life. They also live on the property, so they are available to make sure the guests feel welcome and are comfortable.

Why they chose this property

The first time they visited Buchanan they fell in love with the lake. The beautiful lake Buchanan offers so much. There is so much fun reserved for fishing lovers. Boating also has its place reserved and no matter how busy the lake is you will never feel crowded. Swimming in Buchanan's water is a recharging exercise, they are "healing waters" some people say. Above it all, just watching the lake gives such a peaceful feeling.

The peace and quiet provided by this property and the beautifulness of Buchanan were decisive factors that made the owners fall in love with the place.
