Accommodation is spacious and authentic and really well appointed. The outside spaces and gardens are perfect for relaxing, having fun and eating alfresco. Location of the property is spot on in a beautifully kept village with a lake and plenty of places to walk. We enjoyed day trips into the pyrenees mountains with breathtaking scenery as well as some charming local town visits for lazy lunches and sightseeing. A perfect piece of the south of France -Highly recommneded.
If you are looking for a wonderfully family friendly place for your stay in the south of France look no further. The accommodation is incredibly well kept and family orientated with amazing facilities. The location is ideal for exploring the Pyrenees or just relaxing in the extremely peaceful grounds. If you enjoy cooking you will love the outdoor kitchens (that's right I said kitchens... there are three of them!). Francesca is the most attentive host and looked after us superbly during our stay. We have already booked next year. I cannot recommend le Maison Fleurie enough.
This was our second time staying at La Maison Fleurie and it felt just like returning home! Francesca greeted us with a cold drink upon arrival before we settled right back in with ease. We visited 3 years previously and the house has been extremely well cared for and the gardens lavished with attention. Everywhere you look around the grounds are little pockets of entertaining space from beautiful covered bbq areas to romantic bistro tables adorned with candles and lights. We took full advantage of the gorgeous pool which has an abundance of comfy loungers and parasols and is kept beautifully clean. The hidden gem, and those with children will really appreciate it, is the Games Room with its projector and hundreds of dvds for cosy cinema nights or, for when the sun is just too hot, a cool retreat to keep the kids entertained. Inside the house you will find the house spotlessly clean with ample storage for clothes etc. Every room is decorated to a high standard complete with antiques to bring real character to this traditional French farmhouse.
We took advantage of the location to drive into Spain which took approximately 45mins and to take the car up into one of the Pyrenees Mountains which was a delight with lots of little waterfalls as we climbed higher.
If you are looking for some tranquillity and relaxation I cannot recommend this house highly enough. See you again soon Francesca and thank you for another fantastic holiday!!
Francesca made our party of 4 very welcome. The house has both interesting design and historical features. The facilities are excellent - we stayed at home and cooked or used the BBQ every day. There are some lovely walks nearby and the pool and garden are the best way to spend a relaxing trip.
I would certainly recommend the Maison Fleurie.
Although I wanted to keep this place secret, decency prevails, and if have to say it is an idyllic place to spend leisure time.
Nothing but superlatives- rooms, kitchen so well equipped, the summer kitchen and bar were constantly used, and the owner kept everything in great order.
Always hard to know where to go when booking form Australia, and on this occasion I won!
Simply fantastic, and hopefully one day I will manage to visit and spend time in Latoue again...
Our family of three generations held our holiday in France in this amazing house located in a nice area. It was a great holiday and we can all recommend the place.

The village of Latoue is located on the D8, midway between the market towns of Aurignac and St. Gaudens. It is approximately 12 miles from junction 21 of the A64 motorway. It is in the French 'département' of Haute-Garonne (31) and the local area, known as the Comminges, lies between the hills of Gascony and the striking mountains of the Pyrenees.
Latoue has a small bar, which is closed Monday to Wednesday, at the weekend Anna-Marie makes bread and cakes on the premises and can be bought from the bar. Latoue is served by a mobile baker most days, who has a good stock of bread, cakes, croissants, eggs, wine, etc, while all other daily requirements can be obtained either in Aulon, where there is a small supermarket, post office and a bar which also sells petrol, a 5 minute drive or in St Gaudens, a ten minute drive from Latoue. In St Gaudens you will find supermarkets, bakers, butchers, greengrocers, newsagents, pharmacy, banks, post office, hairdressers, bars and restaurants.
