Idyllic early 1800s farmhouse remodeled in 1980s, convenient to Squam Lake and White Mountains. A quiet place to relax and unwind on the wrap-around porch and gardens, as well as enjoy New Hampshire's scenic outdoor activities. Property is located 2 miles out of the town of Center Sandwich just when the paved road turns to dirt. Farm is set on 60+ acres with fields and wood lot.

Rustic Farmhouse Deep in the Woods

An authentic New England farmhouse experience two and half miles from Sandwich NH. This means there is abundant wildlife all around that comes right up to house from humming birds flitting among grape vines hanging from a trellis just outside glass doors to black bears making nocturnal visits. The house is dog friendly and our dogs loved that they could leave whenever they wanted. There is no internet and spotty cellphone reception. For that, you need to go to the Front Range cafe in Sandwich. The absence of distractions allows for reconnecting by doing activities together and relying on each other. There is no other way to safely get up Mt Washington.

Very peaceful and relaxing

We love the rustic look.The barn was great for keeping the bikes clean. The farmers porch was great for rainy days.all around very comfortable!!!!

Lovely farmhouse perfect location.

Owners were available and very nice , the house was clean and plenty of space. Porch was a great extension of the space.

Only two couples have a double bed. Everything else are singles

Nice place but needs some real work on downstairs bathroom and more comfortable living room furniture. Overall we all had a good time. We were really not at the house except for evenings.
