6 Bedrooms (4double bedrooms, 1 twin, 1mezzanine). sleeps 12 (change Saturday)

Luxury Farmhouse down long drive in middle of 25 acres of fields, VERY PRIVATE & exclusive. Main house & stone built barns form a lovely courtyard. 11m * 5m heated pool (alarmed & fenced). Next to pool is large covered area for shade & BBQ, looking onto lake. Big kitchen table, Range cooker (new 2015), microwave, sat TV/DVD,d/w, w/m, hi-fi, internet wifi, bar football, Nintendo wii, you must go! ***NEW KITCHEN IN 2015 WITH HUGE RANGE COOKER ***

House between Arnay le Duc & Pouilly en Auxois, 7min drive to each. Both have all the shops you need & lots of little restaurants. Dijon is about 40min away. Beaune (vineyards) are about 35min away. Lots of great villages around such as Saulieu with a 3 Michelin star restaurant, 15min away. Chateauneuf 10 min great steak restaurant and crepery. Canals 10min away, lakes nearby for sailing, fishing etc. Golf course 10 min. 5 double beds (two can be a twin) (2 with showers and sinks). 6th bedroom (double) on mezzanine but steep stairs. Ideal for families. Mobile reception.

I have a lovely English couple (who also speak french) who live in the net village who look after the house/pool and garden for me. They are always available if needed, for help or just simple advice as such things as choosing a good restaurant. They can also help with babysitters and even bike hire (we have four bikes, but you might want more).

Change over day saturday.

Great place for families, we have young children so there is a high chair, cot and children's cutlery, babysitting by arrangement.

Wood is supplied for the wood fire.

Games - bar football, giant Jenga, Nintendo Wii, boules...

Pool area - BBQ, sun loungers, table, chairs. Gated and fenced. Heated.

Bathroom towels supplied. Cleaning Included.

I bought this small farm in 2003. Since then we have done a huge amount of work to it with new heating, new kitchen, new bathrooms etc. But keeping as much of the original character and materials as we can.

Fantastic holiday again.

this was our second visit and just as good as the first. The house is so spacious and well equipped. The view from the pool onto the wildlife packed lake is stunning. We had two groups of friends who came to visit us and they were all so impressed and loved there stay. Visited chateau nerf again. Had a wonderful meal. This is a must visit for all ages. As always very sad to leave.

Perfect holiday home

Super house in great order in a standalone position. Lovely area but unfortunately the village restaurant is currently shut. Would definitely recommend the property

Lovely secluded renovated farmhouse.

A lovely renovated farmhouse in a peaceful, secluded spot. Very tastefully decorated, spacious bedrooms, large garden. Pool area very suited to families with small children as safely fenced off. We spent the majority of our holiday on the roofed pool terasse as weather was fabulous and took advantage of the large outside dining area. House is within 30 mins of all wine areas and very good wine cave in village of Pouilly en Auxois (15 mins by car). Hotel de Commerce very good family restaurant in Pouilly also. Very helpful caretakers available for all questions and we even had their daughter as a babysitter one evening. Highly recommended.

Magnifique maison confortable et calme

Nous avons séjourné à Clomot et la maison est vraiment magnifique.

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable, la maison est très confortable et propre.

Les pièces sont très grandes et il y a beaucoup de place. La cheminée fonctionne très bien et à notre arrivée il y avait le stock de bois et de quoi allumer un feu.

La maison était chauffée ce qui est très agréable à cette période. (Le chauffage fonctionne très bien)

Nous avons communiqué avec les propriétaires qui sont vraiment très gentil.

L'endroit est particulièrement calme, juste à côté du château.

Merci beaucoup nous y retournerons c'est sur car il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans la région.

We stayed as two families with young children. The property was on its own 20 acre plot surrounded by fields, trees, a lake and Chateau next door. An excellent and charming restaurant is within walking distance. The winelands of the Cote D'Or are to the south and Chateauneuf is definitely well worth a visit. It was very peaceful and there is a beautiful kitchen with old flagstones a large dinning table. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everybody. A lovely shady BBQ area by the pool. We thoroughly recommend for as a spacious and peaceful rural farmhouse in this part of France.

Wonderful Holiday

Recently got back from a fabulous holiday 'En Menelot'. We had just the best family time out in rural France. This farmhouse was perfect for our needs; private, spacious and well equipped, yet with a really lovely French feel.

We enjoyed a wonderful few days exploring the local areas (trips to Château de Châteauneuf & Pouilly and a walk along the Canal de Bourgogne).

Great time had by all. We will be back. Thank you.

Very private location, just on the edge of the village of Clomot. Change over day saturday

Easy drive to vineyards.

Rolling green hills, Charolais country, famous Cote d'Or villages such as Volnay, Evrey Chambertin, Nuits St George, the Burgundy canal for a lazy afternoon boat trip. Visit historic Burgundy, medieval Semur en Auxois, the ancient châteaux Chateauneuf (10 minutes away), Bazoches, Bussy Rabutin, Rochepot., Epoisses. Venture into the Morvan with its forests and lakes where you can windsurf, water ski or laze around on a pedalo. Burgundy centre of Gastronomy -sample the delights of 3* Michelin cooking at Saulieu. Don't miss Beaune, its beautiful Hotel Dieu with the world famous glazed tile roof, Saturday market, its caves for a wine tasting.

  • All bedrooms either have en suite or are very close to a bathroom. All have hanging area or wardrobes and bedside table with light. All have chest of drawers. The whole house has 'coco mat' carpet in the bedrooms. Downstairs it is flagstone floor in the lounge, which has big sofas and chairs, a bar football table, TV and video and hifi. The kitchen has a AGA(not on in summer unless specifically requires), separate SMEG cooker, fridge freezer, microwave/grill/oven, kettle, all knives/forks/plates and glasses pots and pans.
