* Hilton Pool Pass included with all stays in 2018. Enjoy the 3 beautiful pools of the Hilton Waikoloa, which include exciting slides, beautiful waterfalls, lazy river pool, and grottos. There is also a man-made lagoon where you can snorkel and kayak. Great for families with children. This DAILY pass allows up to 6 people a day to use the pools, receive towel service, and get free parking for 1 car. (The Hilton is a 2 minute drive from our place.)

This poolside town home has three bedrooms and three full baths. The master bedroom with master bathroom has a private lanai, walk-in shower, bathtub and double sink vanity. The second suite has a queen bed and private bath with tub/shower. The third bedroom has a queen bed with a bathroom next door. The loft has a queen size pull out sofa bed.

Just outside the living room slider on the lanai is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ for your enjoyment. Steps away from there you will find the cabana, pool and jacuzzi. Enjoy the tropical breezes and the view of the pool area.

Our unit is well appointed with everything you will need to make your visit just perfect. A completely stocked beach locker with beach chairs, boogie boards, beach equipment, ice chests, and beach towels. Just a quick 10 minute stroll to the very popular Anaeho'omalu Bay (A-Bay) for lots of beach activities. It's all set up for great family fun!

We are literally just across the street from the Queen's Marketplace and the Kings Shops which have a Starbucks, restaurants, bars, food court, groceries, farmer's market, clothing, souvenir stores, ice cream shop, bike rentals, and so much more.

About Sherry Skari

Lars and I live in the Los Angeles area. Lars was born and raised on a potato/wheat farm in Norway and came to the United States as a college student. I, Sherry, grew up in Los Angeles and was raised by Japanese immigrant parents. We met at the University of California, Santa Barbara and married soon after. Lars is a business consultant and I am an elementary school teacher. We have fallen in love with the Big Island and the relaxed upscale area of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. We would love to share our tropical island home with you.

Why Sherry Skari chose Waikoloa Village

Lars and I wanted a place large enough for extended family and friends to stay with us and we wanted it to be near shops, restaurants, and local entertainment. The Waikoloa Beach Villas is situated in a wonderful resort area, it is beautifully landscaped, and it has that low key, relaxed, elegance that helps us get away from our busy lives in Los Angeles. It is a10 minute walk to scenic Anaeho'omalu beach and the fabulous Lava Lava Club restaurant on the beach.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is located on the dry, sunny side of the island and the temperature is consistently in the 80's all year long. It has some beautiful beaches nearby and is conveniently close to Kona, Waimea, and North Kohala. The Big Island is the largest and most adventure filled island of Hawaii. The snorkeling and diving is the best of all the islands, because of its long and protected coastline. It protects the coral and attracts the coral eating fish. There are 11 of the world's 14 climate zones on the Big Island. You have arctic tundra, pasturelands, pine forests, desserts, and tropical rainforest all on one island. It is an amazing and culturally diverse paradise and we love to share it with our family, friends, and guests.

Spacious and Clean

We loved this condo! Perfect for our family of six. It was clean and felt luxurious. What we appreciated most was the amenities and supplies. Having beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers made our beach hopping so enjoyable. We liked staying north of Kona because of all the beautiful beaches in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for the family

The unit was spacious. We didn't use all the rooms.

Here's some observations:

- Garage is tiny and hard to get a minivan in. You can use a pass and park outaide.

- Pool is nearby. My kids (3 and 7) liked it.

- Pool pass is nice. Better to drive usually. Not impossible to walk.

- appliances take some getting used to.

- Fitness center was tiny

Overall though it was nice. If we come back to this island we will try to stay here again.

Location, location, location!

Quick and easy drive from airport, close to all the amenities of Waikaloa (shops, restaurants, Marriott, Hilton ect). Spacious and accommodating for a large group, outdoor kitchen was a dream with semi private lawn and easy access to the community pool. Safe and quiet complex with coded gate entry. Garage parking for one vehicle and its loaded with beach gear (snorkels, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, noodles and umbrellas) so dont bring your own. Had a hard time figuring out A.C. after we tripped the door sensor. The unit was clean, but could benefit from a good carpet shampoo or replacement. Had great stay here and would reccomend to friends looking for accommodations in the area.

When we opened the front door all we could say was “wow”. The layout was perfect for us. The condo location is so convenient being so close to shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our pool pass at the Hilton Waikoloa. We felt totally spoiled just as you want a vacation to make you feel.
