About the property

5 bedroom, 3 full bathroom, only 2 yrs old.. located on 3.8 acres..

This spacious 2 yr old lakefront two story walkout home will be just the place for you, your family, your extended family or large group. This home includes 5 bedrooms which will easily sleep 10 adults comfortably and 3 full bathrooms. The lower level bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi and sauna. This lakefront home has the following amenities: washer/dryer, AC, dishwasher , satellite DISH TV and refrigerators upstairs and down, internet access, pool /ping pong table, propane grill and a two stall garage with plenty of extra parking. Everyone will be able to relax and have fun enjoying the beautiful romantic sunsets.

This 3.8 acre lot is very large with plenty of room for playing croquet, frisbee, football, soccer and hosting campfires. This lot also has a sand volleyball court, a large sandbox with swings for small children, paddle boat, canoe, kayak, and two docks to suntan or catch sunfish, bass or walleyes.

Kandiyohi County hosts many lakes but Little Norway Lake is a spring fed lake that is part of a chain of 4 lakes, which can be accessed through channels. This includes Big Norway, Little Norway, West Norway and Games Lake. Little Norway Lake has calmer waters than the other three lakes, making it easier for swimming, water skiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding and tubing. A great place to canoe and enjoy the loons!

There is much to do in the surrounding area from golfing, farmers markets, biking trails, specialty shops, a local craft brewery and winery.

Fall visitors have one of the most beautiful areas with the maple trees turning colors. The nature walks are very relaxing.

Winter visitors can enjoy cross country skiing, ice fishing and many miles of connected snowmobile trails.

The lakefront home is on a quiet dead end road and is located approximately 13 miles north of Willmar.

Rates are based on 10 people. Additional rates apply for more occupants. This unit is available year round. No pets please.

Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this vacation lake home. The house is very spacious with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. There was plenty of room to sit outside on the deck or patio and enjoy the lake view and the peace and quiet. The grandchildren enjoyed biking the long driveway, playing in the sandbox and we also got in a game or two of sand volleyball! There was something for everyone to do. The weather was pretty windy, so taking the paddle boat or kayak out was pretty challenging. Fishing wasn't the best, but that gave us more time to sit back and relax. My favorite thing was sitting around the fire each evening sharing laughs. Ken was wonderful to work with, and helped us with any problems we encountered. We definitely want to return next year!

My Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. My family used the dock for some fishing and the use of canoe and paddle boat on the lake. We enjoyed time around the fire each evening. The house had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and everything else needed in a home. There are plenty of activities within a few miles. I highly recommend this for a vacation getaway:):)

Fantastic Getaway for Families

  • 5 of 5

Our two families had a wonderful week at this home. This home was a perfect fit for all of us! Our kids absolutely LOVED the ping pong table/pool table downstairs as well as the volleyball court and play area outside! My favorite part about this property was being able to sit on one of the two docks and just have the quiet the lake provided. Very calming. The property itself was very clean and well kept. The owner came by while we were staying to make sure everything was alright from the storms we had. Very accommodating and wonderful to work with.

We went into the town of New London towards the end of our stay and I would highly recommend going to the ice cream shoppe in town called the Deep Freeze......amazing! We would recommend this property to whoever would like a getaway!! It is peaceful and just relaxing!!!!

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Very nice property/location, with plenty of room both inside and out. Downstairs is almost like a separate unit since it has its own fridge/stove. Pool table was an added bonus for us since we have a few pool players in the family. Kitchen was well furnished. We were there during a late hot spell which slowed the fishing down, but we still saw action every time out and had no trouble catching enough for a fish fry, even caught a few northern/bass/sunfish off the dock. Kids enjoyed the kayak/canoe/paddleboat provided.

This was the perfect home for our lake vacation. It had everything you could need!! As soon as you turn off the highway and unto the road, and then up the driveway, you feel very secluded. You'd think you were on your own private lake. The house was very spacious, wonderfully comfortable beds, very soft sheets on the beds; and the decorating was so fun!! The atmosphere of the cabin made our family feel right at home, almost like it was ours!! The sand volleyball court was awesome, the little swing set was so cute and so nice for our smaller children. Our evening fires were so fun, and we created so many great memories. Lots of laughs!! The lake was beautiful and had a wonderful private swimming area. Taking our boat to get ice cream and a burger was something unexpected and fun!!! Not only that but you can cruise over to the outdoor church, which was also an unexpected surprise. This was a great area to vacation, you had a chance to vacation on one lake, and cruise over to another lake. We've stayed at many VRBO's throughout the years, and many different lake cabins, and this one is by far our favorite property. We have never gone back to the same one, BUT WE WILL BE GOING BACK EVERY SUMMER TO THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME ON NORWAY LAKE. The owners are fabulous to work with, very friendly, and made sure we had a great stay. This was our families favorite vacation so far.
