Charmingly styled in an Indian-Western theme, the home has many luxurious amenities including: indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, two wet bars, and an audio system throughout the house.

Upon entering the house, you are greeted by an enchanting country lounge. With an enormous wet bar and pool table, you can spend hours playing while enjoying the view. Travel upstairs, and you are welcomed by the quaint kitchen. Viking appliances throughout the kitchen offer you ample opportunities for culinary creativity.

As the centerpiece of Ometa Ranch, the full stone hearth provides the right atmosphere no matter your mood. Comfortable couches and warmth abound with an incredible view of the Big Sky Basin, waiting to greet you after a full day of adventuring in Big Sky country.

Whether you are staying during the winter or the summer, the twenty acres of land provide for a relaxing and serene escape. With a wrap around veranda, you'll be able to enjoy the surrounding alpine meadow while enjoying the views of the wild flowers or wildlife. If snow sports are your game, then you are in luck. Big Sky guarantees 500+ inches of snowfall, from November to April. Only ten minutes drive to the Biggest Skiing in America! If hiking is your preferred - all it takes is just to get outside the house, all year round, including winter snowshoeing.

Like living in a museum of Western life with every possible creature comfort and incredible views

  • 5 of 5

Wow! The Ometa ranch was much more in every way than what we were expecting. The mountain top retreat had incredible views in every direction from every room the house. Once inside the house, it was a true museum of Western life, full of collections of Western and Native American artifacts. We spent so much time just wandering around the house looking at everything. The house had every possible amenity you could ask for from a huge, gourmet kitchen to an outside hot tub to a pool table, bar, sound system, satellite TV just to name a few. Everything was clean and neat. If you are in the Big Sky are, you must stay here. Our only complaint was that the VRBO description UNDERESTIMATES how fantastic it is. Thank you! Thank you!

A Spectacular Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

A weeks stay at OMETA Ranch was a phenomenal experience! First off, the house is surrounded by over 20 acres of beautiful backcountry. There is so much to do outside, from skiing/snowboarding through fresh powder, to snowshoeing up the mountain and through the woods, to even sledding. It is perfect for adventure seekers as well as casual vacationers looking to enjoy the natural beauties of Montana. The house itself is incredible with an open kitchen that has a lot of natural light. Across from the big fireplace are stunning views of Big Sky. The house also has a pool table, sauna, and jacuzzi which all are great to relax and spend time with friends and family after enjoying the day outside. My favorite part about the place is that it is very private and secluded, allowing you to enjoy and connect with the peaceful nature. Overall, staying at OMETA Ranch was a fantastic trip!

UN TOCCASANA PER L'ANIMA!!!

  • 5 of 5

Grazie.

Ranch Ometa Resort mantiene tutte l’attese.

Mountain Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

Our week at the OMETA ranch was a family vacation of a lifetime. We traveled with our three teenage boys. They are active and love to build their own adventures. The house is on over 20 private wooded acres and our boys skied/snowboarded in the backyard each day. With shovels, they built their own "mini-terrain" park. My husband and I spent each day snowshoeing and photographing/video taping the kids playing. We cooked dinner each night in the "chef's kitchen". (I recommend stopping at Costco in Bozeman to load up on groceries for the week.) There was fresh snow each day. (You need to rent a 4 wheel drive car in the winter/spring months.) At night, we used the telescope to view the stars (after taking a relaxing outdoor jacuzzi). We also played cards, billiards and read books by the fire. This is a great place to "reconnect" with your family/friends. THANK YOU OMETA!

OMETA Ranch - Fantastic House in a Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at OMETA ranch in mid February for our annual college reunion ski trip. House was amazing with all the bells and whistles including a pool table and bar area! Great kitchen and Living room with a great fireplace. Had 7 guys and all slept comfortably (2 in downstairs room 4 in main level rooms (3 singles and 1 shared in the loft) and 1 in the upstairs loft. Could have easily slept more. Owner was great to deal with and the house manager Terry was great! Close to Big Sky and other local amenities, as well as excellent backcountry skiing (and hiking we hear in the summer). Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend this special house.

Simply Perfect

  • 5 of 5

This home and location will exceed expectations for even the most seasoned of travelers with the highest standards.

High end living with all the amenities imaginable, completely private but yet still close to town, and the most perfect views.

This home should truly rent for easily twice the amount the owners charge, and even at that, nobody would be disappointed. Feel free to use me as a reference anytime.
