Nice property right on the water
We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing on the water.
We had a great time. So sweet that they let us bring our fur baby too. Our favorite part was being able to walk to the Dock to eat. I enjoyed being able to sit out by lake every morning & drink my coffee. My husband actually caught a 6lb bass right off the pier. Danielle was very accommodating & let us come at 2 instead of 4. Great time. Just watch your dogs because there are some roach traps on floor that they could get. Well worth the stay.
Overall a great stay! The property is very nice and clean with a really neat location on the lake. Definitely will be coming back!
Very pleasant for my wife and I on our anniversary.
We had a little problem with the tv, but that was because of our knowledge of its operation. Danielle came out and helped us with it. The shower is a bit small, but was adequate for the 3 nites we stayed. Was great to tie our boat right up to the dock right behind the cabin. Enjoyed the short walk & fine food at the Mexican restaurant. One of the best frozen margaritas we've ever had. Loved the lake and enjoyed the fishing. We didn't catch any keepers, but just the fun of enjoying the boat ride and catching and releasing was very enjoyable. Would recommend this cabin for others, our friends & family. Perfect for 2.
Cute house, but disappointing visit
My fiance and I had to go to Lake Providence for a wedding nearby, so we picked this cute Lakehouse to stay in for the weekend.
Pros: The house is small, but cute and quaint for a little lakehouse getaway. We were lucky because the owners allowed us to bring our 2 dogs with us since they were dog lovers too and it was pet-friendly. There were 3 restaurants nearby in walking distance which made things really convenient and we brought our dogs on the dock for lunch.
Cons: Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that this cabin is actually not pet friendly. Within an hour of being there, one of our dogs found rat poison and began chewing on it. After doing a good search of the house, we found 12 cubes of rat poison on the ground in corners, under bed, sofas, etc where my small dog could have easily gotten to. Luckily the veterinarian across the street was on call, but we had to miss the entire wedding to bring our dog to the emergency clinic and follow up there early Sunday morning. So in the end, our trip was wasted since we could not attend the wedding and ended up with multiple after hours vet bills. We are lucky we caught her before leaving, otherwise the trip could have had a pretty sad ending. We were just very disappointed we were not informed about the rat poison prior to getting there. I would not consider this home pet friendly or kid friendly due to this.
The place is ideal, very clean and cozy. A real diamond in the rough.
