Ideal location in Paris!

  • 4 of 5

My friend, and I, loved our stay in this flat. We could not have asked for a more convenient location to the metro and many other sights. The flat, itself, had all the conveniences we needed for our stay and provided more space than an impersonal hotel room. A wonderful restaurant which was highly recommended by a friend in Paris is conveniently located across the street from entrance to the building and we were not disappointed with our experience there.

Great location, large apartment in safe quiet area.

  • 5 of 5

This is a large very comfortable apartment in a very quiet and safe part of Paris. The Notre dame is on your doorstep and you can hear the bells throughout the apartment. Great location with shops and transport very close by. You can walk to many of the tourist locations from here and the batobus river bus is only metres away which makes travelling throughout Paris easy and cheap with great views as you travel along the seine. Apartment is clean and secure with great correspondence from managers Catherine and Phillipe. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful apartment with fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

My wife, 9 year-old daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment could not be in a more perfect location, just two blocks from Notre Dame. It was extremely comfortable, and we liked the very nice art, and book collection of the owner. It was just steps away from many nice cafes and restaurants, and just a short walk to the heart of the Latin Quarter. Very convenient to many bus and Metro lines too. Dominique who helped us settle in was also extremely nice and gave us lots of good advice about our visit. In short we had a wonderful stay and would love to return when we next visit Paris!

Old and comfortable, clean and well-equiped.

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place! It is close to Notre Dame, but on a side street that gets you away from the mass of tourists. In a minute you can be at Place Maubert, shopping at the local shops or the lovely twice-weekly market and know you are in France, not in Disneyland. The furnishing of the apartment is fascinating. Books and artifacts from all over, but especially the middle-east, had us wondering about who furnished this lovely place. We only ate breakfast there, but it is well equipped for cooking meals. We had friends over for drinks and appetizers and felt right at home. I highly recommend it. Catherine and Stephano were very helpful and accommodated a change we had to make in our plans. Great place!

Great location for first time in Paris, flat was a great size and layout.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I took our 17 year old daughter to Paris for the first time. Having two full bathrooms and our own rooms was great. Catherine communicated to us before we arrived with all the necessary information, codes, etc. She was there to great us, gave us key information for the flat and gave us a basic orientation to the neighborhood. She is just terrific. The welcome bottle of wine and crackers was a nice treat and the bottles of still and sparkling water a Godsend. The bedrooms face the interior courtyard so are nice and quiet. The sunny living room with huge windows and nice size table to sit around was perfect. We ended our afternoons having wine and cheese and a baguette while talking over our next plans, just great. Hearing the bells from Notre Dame from the living room was just so magical. Having the Franprix up the street along with wine, cheese, butcher, fish stores, etc was so convenient. Our daughter found one of the best candy stores, just further down, and that was a treat. Walking at night over to Notre Dame was breathtaking and one night we caught all the street performers which was fun. Le Reminent and Le Compoir Du5 at the end of the street were both fabulous. The flat is in a building that is 400 years old, so it has an older historical charm, but very comfortable and a safe quiet feel to it. I cannot imagine staying in a hotel after using VRBO in Paris! We were also directly across from the Notre Dame BatoBus stop and we loved cruising up and down the Seine. Merci, Catherine!
