About Greg Asadourian

We moved to Nashville in 1998. It was supposed to be for two years..... We really love living in this town. My wife and I are new to vrbo, but NOT new to the landlord scene. We have been renting properties in the area for over ten years- we know what we are doing.

Greg Asadourian purchased this house in 2000

Why Greg Asadourian chose Hillsboro Village

This home and location have provided us with a wonderful living experience in Nashville. Before kids we enjoyed the night life of the city. With very young kids, we didn't get out that much, however amenities made life a little easier for us. Now that our kids are bigger, we are exploring the city with a whole new perspective. Nashville is a really great city and this house is perfect place for people of all ages to enjoy the city

What makes this house unique

We are close to everything. I can't stress that point enough. Most attractions are within a short walk, a short bike ride, a short cab ride, or a short drive. Meanwhile we are located in a registered historic district with unique and distinct homes built between the 20's and 50's. The location is both appealing based on character as well as convenience

Beautiful home in quiet neighbourhood

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 8 adults who traveled to Nashville for a long weekend. This house is well described in its listing and the photos are accurate. The house is very clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there. It is a stately home and very nicely renovated inside with modern touches. Beautiful screened-in outdoor room as well.

This house was a very good fit for our group.

It is in a quiet neighborhood and right around the block from a large grocery store that has everything.

Uber to downtown was about $8. Airport was about $35.

Location, Location, Location!...and...Spacious!

  • 4 of 5

This is a great house! Plenty of room to accommodate a great family reunion as we did for our son's birthday. It is a very inexpensive Uber Ride to all the Broadway and downtown action and the owner is very attentive if/when any issues should arise. Very nice and quiet neighborhood and there is a terrific grocery store just around the corner for easy restocking! The kitchen appliances are terrific, especially the gas stove and griddle--though we did not use the griddle as we did not want to have to clean it properly before leaving.

We had a wonderful time but found just a few things lacking and would just like to suggest the following to the owner: In the kitchen, place a common salt and pepper shaker set on the counter--so guests don't have to hunt through all the cabinets/drawers to find them; provide two/three non-stick fry pans in an easy to find location so guests don't have to go through the kitchen search; the Gas Grill in the back yard was not usable for us as it was very dirty and had not been cleaned/serviced for some time; the screened-in porch was nice, but it was so humid we could not enjoy them; we had issues with the A/C system thermostats--sometimes freezing cold upstairs, while it's cooking downstairs, but we worked it out, eventually.

This is a great house--especially for a large group of people celebrating a special occasion and wanting to commute back/forth to downtown Broadway for all the music action. But, we think the owner could give a little more attention to the simple, kitchen needs so arriving guests can locate essentials and prepare their meals without going on a laborious hunt to find basic utensils, cookware and basic spices, etc. Also...there is a stairway to the upper level that really should have a full handrail installed so as to make it safer for all guests to use, especially those with physical challenges, as our son had during our visit.

Despite the above suggestions, we had a wonderful time at Greg's home, reuniting with our family members and found Greg's home to be comfortable and enjoyable and we can recommend it highly.

perfect home away from home for a destination wedding

  • 5 of 5

Having a destination wedding was a challenge. Staying at this house was the answer to our many of our concerns. The location could not have been more convenient to all of our wedding and family gatherings and activities. The house was exactly what we needed for our family of 8 and a toddler. The layout of the house was a perfect set up for mingling with family and also spaces for privacy if needed. The listing and photos of the house were accurate and we were not disappointed in any aspect of comfort or amenities offered. Other than having a wedding in our hometown this was the next best thing to being at home.

Beautiful, Centrally Located Stay

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at in Hillsboro Village was perfect. The house is beautiful with a big backyard and screened in patio, perfect for dinner off the grill or relaxing at night. It is centrally located to a lot of great restaurants and bars in HIllsboro Village and a quick drive downtown. Greg was very accommodating and responsive if we ever needed anything. If you're looking for a nice, spacious home centrally located, we definitely recommend staying here.

Our home provides easy access to many fun parts of Nashville.

In the immediate vicinity you will find Hillsboro Village accessible by foot about 1/2 mile down 21st Avenue. Here you will find a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Some of my favorites are Pancake Pantry, Fido, Double Dogs and Provence. The Vanderbilt campus is adjacent to this area of town.

Walk over to the the Belmont business district and you will find another stretch of similar shops. Theses are also within 1/2 mile. Some more places to try are Bongo Java, PM, and Boulevard. While you are in this area, you can take a stroll through the Belmont University campus
