This property is located 6 miles from the pavement on a dead end town maintained road. This heavily forested area is abundant with wildlife and perfect for hunting, fishing and relaxation. This camp is unique in that it allows hunters the ability to hunt ruffed grouse, whitetail deer and moose within walking distance from the front door.
You will find all the comforts of home with multiple heating options, inside plumbing and electricity. Those looking for the true camp experience, an outhouse is also on the property.
This is located in a great spot for the northern Maine moose hunt located in zone WMD 6, and is less than 10 miles from zone 2, 3 and 5.

We are about 11 miles to Portage Lake and 30 miles to Presque Isle.

Great multipurpose location

Great trip from beginning to end. Communication with owner was excellent. Location was a 1/4 mile further than Google Earth showed, but a quick call to the owner straightened that out. Easy in easy out of property. Everything you need was there. Bring what you need for toilet paper & paper towels to replace what you use. Quiet, warm or as cool as you want, private. The town is not far away if you need something. It was perfect for us, go hunting right outside the door or a short trip to the north woods access gate. It’s an outdoor persons perfect destination. I’m definitely going back.

If you want peace and quiet great place, which we enjoyed.

It was out away from everywhere private, needs little things like picinic table, maybe a grill a fire pit. amenities like towels need to couple extras. silverware,
