Our much-loved holiday home is a perfect place for families and couples to enjoy the qualities that the algarve has to offer. Well-located for beaches and local shops, this villa still allows for plenty of privacy and quiet.

A wonderfully generous exterior allows for eating out, barbeques and sun-lounging by the 10 m x 5 m pool, a large roof patio for spectacular views and privacy, games of football within the large enclosed gardens, well lit so one can enjoy the warmth of the night climate too.

The spacious interior has all home comforts including air conditioning, Astra satelite TV, wireless internet access, underfloor heating and a spa bath tub.

This house can be warmed in winter and cool in summer with air conditioning, plenty of windows to absorb the natural light and warmth. The main part of the house has an en suite master double bedroom, a twin bedroom and bathroom with a spa bath, living room and a well equipped kitchen. The third and fourth double bedrooms both have en suite bathrooms. They are accessed by their own doors and have double glass sliding doors to the pool terrace. All bedrooms have air conditioning and heating. There is a washing machine located in an outdoor utility room. A homely, light and comfortable living space with sofas, fireplace, easy chairs and a dining area with seating for 8 persons, all tastefully decorated in modern and rustic styles.

A really large terrace framed by a mature bougainvillea at the back of the house surrounding the pool with an outdoor shower, purpose built barbeque, beautiful tiled garden table, wrought iron seating and table and other garden furniture including tables and sunbeds with mattresses. Steps lead down to a small football field with goal posts. Terraces lead all around the house from the front where the covered parking is within the gated driveway.

This property is perfect for families with children of any age.

There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.

There are no steps and plenty of shady areas for outside seating.

Situated in a rural area, between 120 to 200 metres away from a few other private villas. The villa and grounds are not at all overlooked and have far reaching sea views.

Carob, almond and citrus groves surround the grounds and are integral with the far-reaching sea views over the pinetrees approaching the Atlantic coast.

The nearest shop is found locally and in Moncarapacho, 2km away. Tavira, the gem of the Eastern Algarve is reached in 15 minutes by car, along with the varied beaches found around there.

Moncarapacho, 2km away has a rural and individual charm about it and links to unspoilt hamlet villages in amongst the hills and surroundings. Faro is 20km away and has a characteristic old town.

From the small B road the villa is accessed by 200 metres of gravel drive. Quinta Murcada is set in a very tranquil and quiet environment. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside the property. Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we would rather not allow pets. Arrivals are flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged. We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals. Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.

Moncarapacho and Fuzeta have all amenities and Tavira has a good selection of restaurants.

Horse riding and watersports can be arranged, information can be found at the house. Roman remains can be visited in the nearby village of Estoi.

Large water fun parks are encountered on the main road towards west algarve, about 60 minutes away.

We recommend hiring a car in order to take advantage and visit all the beautiful places and to facilitate shopping.

Faro is the nearest airport, a 25 minute drive away.

Flights to Fronteira de Jerez are available and often cheaper, though car hire is necessary as public transport to Portugal is not easy.

Lisbon is around 3.5 hours away and Seville around 2 hours drive.


Amongst the selection of many beautiful beaches this part of the algarve has to offer, Fuzeta beach is a sure family favourite.
