I am a professional who works hard at my career. I totally understand what it means to "break away" from the work routine and escape for a romantic weekend or an outing with the girls. Cottage On The Hillside is just the place for that unique and special getaway weekend or relaxing time together as a family. This Cottage is set up with all the comforts of "home" and is yours for the taking.
Cottage was very comfortable. Comfortable sleeping room for six. Parking for more than one car was difficult and backing out of garage was very unsafe. Lack of enough hot water to enjoy bath tub spa was disappointing. We enjoy eating breakfast as a family but there wasn't room or chairs for six and kitchen supplies were lacking in comparison to other places we have stayed. We had a good time, weather was terrific, family time was special and that is what mattered most.
My family has stayed in multiple places in Eureka Springs. This one tops the list. We were greeted with a sweet note from the owner. The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The setup was perfect for our family and there was plenty of space. The porch was an ideal place to watch the sunrise over the mountains while enjoying our morning coffee. The location is close to downtown and within walking distance.
If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax with your family, I highly recommend this cottage.
Very clean, comfortable beds, centrally located to all Eureka Springs has to offer.
This beautiful cottage was perfect for a quick getaway with our family. The extra touches were special. The kids especially loved the butter pound cake:) The house was extremely clean and the beds and furnishings were perfect. This cottage is in perfect walking distance to downtown and to the Crescent Hotel.
We loved this cottage and will definitely be back.
This was the 2nd stay at the Cottage on the Hillside and we truly loved it. Everything from meeting the delighful owner Sharon and all of the wonderful accommodations from the tasty welcome lemon pound cake to watching the white squirrels while sitting on the covered porch drinking coffee and visiting. Our stay was just too short! We love the town, atmosphere and the cottage and will be back time and time again if the good Lord is willing. Thank you Sharon.
This was the 4th time to stay in this cottage. So, needless to say, it's an all-time favorite that keeps us coming back. The location is perfect for a short, leisurely stroll into the downtown area. The owner (who is as charming as the cottage) has made some nice improvements since our last visit. The cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay. We'll be coming back again and again!
