Such a great home. The beach views are amazing! I loved being right on the water. We will come back!
Upon arriving at this beach house, we received a text from the property manager to NOT USE the main entrance of the house and only use the garage entrance. We quickly noticed that the deck that goes to the main door of the house (which is located on the side of the house) was rotten and falling apart. This was not new damage and was never explained to us prior to booking this house. Once we walked in we noticed many things wrong with the property. The table and chairs in the dining area were broken, apparent water damage all over the house, black mold on top of the second level to the balcony, broken ice maker just to name a few. We called about the ice maker and they sent someone out to fix it. Well they fixed it alright, it made one cube of ice the entire trip. The deck on the first floor that SHOULD have gone out to the beach was completely gone. You had to use the public walkway to get to the beach. Whoever owns this home has put zero into it to keep it maintained. The pictures above must have been taken when they first listed this house. The carpet in the bedrooms was filthy, poor lighting due to burnt bulbs that needed to be replaced and not enough towels for ONE family much less 4 families. Finally there is a sign hanging by the back door that tells you that you need to clean the house, change the sheets, vacuum, sweep, and mop before you leave. Remember you paid a cleaning fee.
