My apartment is in the centre of Gibraltar, just a couple if minutes from Main street, Casemates Square, Charham Counterguard and Ocean village Marina. It has an outdoor swimming pool open from June to September. There is a taxi stand and bus station within 5 minutes walk as well as a small supermarket.
Ocean Heights is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport where there are generally taxis available. It should cost in the region of £10.00. Alternatively, it's just a 20 minute walk, which takes you across the icon airport runway and through Casemates Square.
Parking is limited in Gibraltar, with most street parking reserved for resident permit holders. Mid Town Coach and Car Park is a multi-story car park within 5 minutes’ walk. Fees are £1.30 per hour from 07:45 to 19:00 and 80p per hour from 19:00-07:45. There are some pay and display bays on the street just before you reach the building. Rates are: Mon-Fri 10am-10pm & Sat 10am-2pm 1st 30 mins 50p, 1 hour £1, Max stay 8 hours. All other hours Sunday & public holidays are free.
Another option is to park in the secure car park on the Spanish side of the border, it's considerably cheaper, it avoids the traffic congestion and most places are within walking distance or a short bus ride. For more info search 'Parkimeter Gibraltar Santa Barbara'
The main bus terminal is located at Market Place, just 2-3 minutes’ walk if you turn left when exiting the building. Buses run in all directions throughout Gibraltar every 15 minutes. The No.5 runs every 15 mins from the Frontier / Airport to Market Place from 7am to 9pm. For more info search Gibraltar Bus Company and/or Gibraltar Airport.
