It had everything we needed and more
The whole family were delighted
If I wasn’t sincere, I wouldn’t have sent this
Hope to revisit again
My family and I have just returned from our fifth visit to "Craigview" and continue to enjoy the house, the location and all the activities that can be enjoyed within the area.
Yet again, we have enjoyed it so much that we have already secured our booking for next year, which will be our sixth year in a row. It's a lovely way for the family to spend quality time together.
Bored? Not a bit of it!
My family consists of three generations - Mum, myself and hubby and daughter and son-in-law, and we all love it! My hubby and son-in-law golf every day and the girls shop in a different town or city every day - what more could one wish for?
We enjoy wonderful home cooked meals prepared in the fabulous kitchen and also enjoy every home comfort anyone would require whilst on holiday.
The house provides three beautiful bedrooms, each with its own bath/shower room. There is never a queue for a loo at "Craigview".
The property provides luxury, tranquilty, location and heaps of things to entertain you during your stay and I am sure you will want to return again and again.
Place was even better than expected. Great location between St Andrews and Dundee, right on the golf course so nice views. Really clean and comfortable with a lovely touch to have wine, short bread and milk on arrival - especially since we arrived on bank holiday and the shops were shut! Lynn was really helpful dealing with our enquiries beforehand and all information we needed was made easy for us. Would definitely reccomend and will hopefully be back again in the future! Thanks for a great stay :)
We were working in Dundee for the month and found this accomdation the price was fantastic the location was great lovely surroundings, quite and friendly neighbourhood! The house was lovely well kept and equipped with everything you need! Would recommend to anyone and everyone this is a beautiful well presented holiday home and great value for money
On arriving the impressive driveway and setting didn't prepare us for what we found inside. A beautiful home, immaculately clean with lots of space. Craigview is a fabulous base in which to explore to local area, shopping in Dundee, sand castle competitions in St Andrews, fish & chips in Anstruther, fruit picking in Cairnie our list goes on! After busy days out we were able to come back, settle our 2 boys & cook a lovely meal in the very well equipped kitchen, ending the day enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the golf course as the sun set. This was without a doubt the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in, a great week away making lovely memories. Oh & our 4 year old loved the long hall way - it was great for running up & down in his own mini olympics!
We had a great time at Craigview recently and very much enjoyed our stay. House is very spacious and comfortable, in a terrific setting, and both house and garden were beautifully presented. Decent snacks at the nearby Drumoig Hotel and great variety of tourist activities available in the area. Would very much like to return in future if the opportunity arises.
An abundance of golf courses are nearby including St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Kingsbarnes, Gleneagles and on the doorstep Drumoig and its driving range. A 15 minute drive through forest and woodland bring you to a spectacular beach with miles of clean sand. Fife and Tayside coastlines offer historic fishing villages, coastal walks and many sporting facilities nearby including horse riding, fishing, sailing, quad biking, ice skating and a swimming complex to name a few!
