Peace and tranquility!
Clean, welcoming and well stocked with everything you need for a great stay. Thank you!
Just minutes from Pinkham Notch and with a view of Mt Washington what more could a hiker-or anyone else- want from a place? This apartment is spotless and Jane and Frank are splendid hosts. Highly recommended!
I found the property to exceed my expectations based on the advertising. The property was clean and maintained well except for a couple of very minor issues. Being self-sufficient, we required no customer service other than meet and greet. The owner did stress that if we needed anything or had any questions she would answer immediately. I would recommend this place to people seeking a quiet getaway in a comfortable environment.
Many Cross Country skiing and hiking opportunities are a short distance from the property. Although the region has numerous restaurants catering to all tastes, we were content to cook and eat in the rental unit.
Thanks to Jane and Frank for providing our home away from home for the week.
We stayed for 3 nights at Jane and Frank. Wonderful hosts! Jane was always available via email or phone before we arrived and answered our questions and gave us detailed info about the property. The apartment is nice and cozy, great for 4 persons ( two nice bedrooms), nicely decorated living room and the apartment has all the amenities it needs for a very comfortable stay. Jane's attention to detail ( all that is needed in the bathroom, even though on the smaller size but nice little stands with drawers for extra storage, nice dining space, spacious balcony with open vista over Mount Washington and amazing sunrise views). Apartment is sparkling clean and nicely decorated as well; the moment you step in, it feels very welcoming and homey. We appreciated Frank's bear stories and maps and brochures about the area kindly provided. They know the region so well and can give you extra tips if needed. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.
Overall a wonderful trip to get away from our busy lives and spend some time with nature. Jane was very prompt with her responses regarding the house and the availability. Even though we were late upon arrival due to traffic Jane was very quick to respond to our phone call and stated everything would be fine. She was there right when we arrived with a welcoming smile and gave us a very nice tour of the apartment.
The apartment was very immaculate, decorative, and well equip. You can tell Jane and Frank took a lot of pride in keeping the apartment very clean as if being invited to a very hospitable person's home. We were able to make ourselves at home and if we needed anything Jane was just a text message away. I would say this place could hold up to 4 people comfortably. Phone service was great as well as the wifi speed. Trails are just minutes away and the silence of the mountains is just incredible! I recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a peaceful retreat to the mountains.
We are located 15 minutes away from Mount Washington (the highest peak in the Northeast) on Route 16 going North. There you will find many recreational activities. If you continue North, it will bring you to Great North Woods region, with its beautiful rivers and panoramic views.
