This cozy one-bedroom home in Gold Beach is dog-friendly and is within an easy walk of the beach. With all the comforts of home and space for up to four guests, you can enjoy a wonderful Southern Coast vacation here.
Perched just 200 yards from the beach, when you're here you can walk over to the jetty, to the sand, and around town to a few nearby restaurants. Gold Beach has a grocery store, some shops, and eateries to choose from. The Rogue River flows to the north and provides fishing and boating opportunities, and other nearby cities such as Port Orford and Brookings offer even more options for sightseeing.
With one bedroom and one bathroom, this home is ideal for a couple, a few friends, or a small family. As many as four guests will be comfortable here, and you're even welcome to bring along your dogs, though a nightly fee per dog and minimum fee per stay will apply.
Inside, you will find a surprisingly spacious full kitchen with all the appliances and tools you may need to whip up meals. There's a cute table by the window where you can sit and eat, though you could also go out onto the large deck and enjoy a meal outside in the fresh air while admiring the views of the bay and ocean in the distance.
When it's time to head to bed, go into the bedroom and you will find a queen-size bed and a sofa that folds out into an additional sleeping space. There's also a TV where you can watch some cable programming, use the DVD/VCR player, or watch one of the provided classic VHS movies. This home also offers books for you to borrow, as well as WiFi access, a laundry area, and a gas grill out on the deck.
This cozy home is just right for a peaceful getaway with a few of your loved ones. You can even rent it together with the adjoining studio-style home to sleep a total of seven guests (ask for details).

We come back to the cottage because it has a totally secure big fenced in yard for our dogs. Also, there are so many windows and good views from the deck. We do wish the owners would do something about the road up to the cottage. It really needs attention. It could use a new stove. Other than those two items it is good value for the money.
Not much to do in Gold Beach other than walking on the beach. Relaxing stay.
Decent property, could have been better located, furniture was all very tired and dated.

We appreciated how easy it was to have our Golden Retriever -- nice fenced yard. We enjoyed evenings with the folks in the unit next door so it was especially fun for us. The dining area has a good view and the large windows made the dining table perfect for watercolor painting.
