The renovations are complete and our place is open for guests!
Absolute riverfront with six bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two living areas, a private jetty, and two upstairs decks. Ten kms upstream from Mannum in an exclusive clutch of shacks, this property is the ideal location for a quiet family holiday or the perfect getaway for 2 or more groups with ample living spaces and shared areas.
DESCRIPTION:
DOWNSTAIRS has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one and 2 singles in the other. There is a separate toilet and bathroom with basic toiletries, hair dryer and linen. The separate laundry is equipped with a washing machine and powder is supplied. The enclosed living area boasts a loungeroom with TV and kitchenette including a toaster, kettle, microwave, air fryer, fridge and dishes for four people.
OUTSIDE the large, fenced yard has ample space for parking. A large undercover area has a BBQ, fridge, dining and trestle tables, and pizza oven. A dart board and other assorted sports equipment are provided. There is a fire pit for ambiance and warmth and a 3rd toilet for convenience while enjoying the outdoor space. In front of the fenced yard is about 60m of lawn, perfect for a kick or the footy or a hit of cricket, with 2 large trampolines, leading up to your own private jetty. This 80m jetty leads out to deeper waters and a pontoon, perfect for swimming, boating, and jet ski action. Also available for an extra cost on application: 2 fishing kayaks.
UPSTAIRS there are 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen beds and one with a bunk bed that sleeps 3 (double at the bottom and a single at the top). A porta cot with bedding and a highchair are available on request. The upstairs has a bathroom, toilet, spacious lounge/ dining room, and a kitchen equipped with a microwave, oven, cooktop, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, and a variety of cookware. Tap water is NOT safe to drink so a 10 L box of spring water is provided. (See below for other inclusions). Other basic electrical appliances include a kettle, toaster, coffee maker (assortment of pods provided), and hairdryer. In the lounge area there is a TV, DVD player, DVDs, books, puzzles and games for indoor entertainment. The living area opens out to a large deck with outstanding panoramic views of the Murray River and outdoor dining facilities. The large rear deck faces the sunset and has a large outdoor lounge and table.
AIRCONDITIONING: There are fans in each bedroom [except in the bunk room] and two split system air conditioners (one upstairs and one down) to maintain your comfort year-round.
PETS are welcome but only outside (ample undercover space). There are usually other dog-friendly dogs around so please only bring well-socialised dogs.
INCLUSIONS: At R&T's, we aim to provide the holiday we'd like to go on: hassle-free and easy to pack for-equipped with the basic essentials! LINEN- All beds are made with fresh top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, and quilt covers. There are bath and beach towels provided as well as a hand towel and bathmat in each bathroom. Each kitchen area has tea towels and a new dish cloth & scourer. KITCHEN/ COOKING ITEMS: We provide a vast selection of tea and coffee, basic herbs, first aid kit, sauce (BBQ and tomato), sugar, 2 small milks, 10L of spring water, cooking oil, dishwashing tablets and liquid, dish cloths, fly spay, mozzie coils, Glen 20, hand sanitiser, and 1 gas bottle. BATHROOMS- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and 6 toilet rolls are provided plus a hair dryer in each vanity.
CHECK OUT: We have our place professionally cleaned between guests, but we expect guests to leave it tidy:
-do your dishes
-make sure red dishes are in the downstairs kitchenette
-put all rubbish in the outside bins
-clean any appliances you used including the BBQ, oven, airfryer etc
Your cleaning fee is refundable if we don't need to pay the cleaner to do these things.

R&T's was a very spacious holiday home with all the comforts of home but with a stunning view of the River. The fenced area was really large and perfect to keep our dog secure. The only disappointment we found was knowing our checkout time was near and that we would have to leave such a wonderful holiday home. 😊 One of the best holidays we've had! Thanks Michelle and Steve.

Loved our little getaway here. Michelle was great to deal with, flexible & always responded promptly. The property was clean, modern and provided everything we needed. The layout suited us perfectly. Kids loved having the use of the jetty to go fishing & the trampolines were a hit as well. Great location, not even 10 mins out of Mannum so quick trips to the shops were easily done. Thanks again Michelle!!

We are a river loving family who live in the city but stay at our own river property when ever we can. Our family consists of us, our 4 kids, their 4 amazing partners and now our 5 grandkids! We're all river loving South Aussies from way back & are keen to share this beautiful part of river with others.

We love this stretch of the river. Actually, we love the whole Murray but Pellaring Flat is peaceful and small, quite the safe community, with only 22 shacks on this stretch.

What makes this property unique

This property has everything you need and nothing you don't! It's pet friendly (outside only) and there's enough room tents for those who want a camping experience. It's a close knit community so it's guaranteed to be quiet, peaceful and safe. It's fenced to provide reassurance for young families and the gentle gradient and size of the front lawn provides ample safe opportunities for kids of all ages to run around and play.
