Our superb villa is fully furnished, with air conditioning. The property is strictly no smoking inside the house. Our price is inclusive of air con/heating, electricity, hot/cold water and clean linen & towels. The accommodation comprises lounge/dining area, fully equipped all-electric kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 large double, 1 twin, 1 single), 2 bathrooms. TV and a DVD player are also available. There is personal key access to the nearby swimming pool. Externally there is a garden and porch/patio. The first floor balcony/sun terrace is accessible from the main bedroom with views of the swimming pool (1 minute walk), and on the top floor there is a large private roof top Solarium which has table & sun beds and views of the salt lakes of Torrevieja & orange groves. We recommend a car to enable you to visit the many blue flag beaches, towns, markets, shops, golf courses etc. It is located in a quiet area. We do not allow smoking inside the house. Baby hire equipment details can be provided if requested.

Airport to villa: We can arrange for you to be met/collected at the airport (Alicante or Murcia) as an option for an additional charge.

We recommend you have the use of a rental car. We can provide driving directions and sat nav location if requested for the house.

Alicante (El Altet) airport is a 40 minute drive (mostly all motorway, A7-E15 and A37 ; and CV945).

Murcia (San Javier) airport is a 25 minute drive away (mostly all motorway, 2 tolls on A37; and CV945)

Additional Information: It has a large front garden (requiring no maintenance) which includes a single car parking area. There is an entrance porch, & the patio area has comfortable garden furniture.

The swimming pool is a 30 second walk from the house. A large new Dial-Prix supermarket is a 2 minute walk from the house, plus bars, computer shop & hairdresser.

Los Montesinos is a typical sleepy small Spanish village with a central high street containing many shops, restaurants, banks and bars. These shops are a 4 minute drive away from the house. It is situated about 4 miles inland from the busy main costal resort of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca.

The house is located on a new urbanisation called La Herrada. The short private road in which the house is located is a dead end, its very quiet with no passing traffic.

  • The master bedroom is a large, bright airy room, on the first floor, with one extra-large double bed. It is tastefully furnished and has a built-in wardrobe. The room is air-conditioned & it has sliding doors leading out on to a sunny south facing terrace. Bedroom 2 is a large airy room with twin beds, also on the first floor, it is well appointed with a wardrobe & air-conditioning. Bedroom 3 is on the ground floor, and is tastefully decorated, with a single bed. It has a built-in wardrobe. There is an optional moveable travel cot in this room.

Notes:
It is completely furnished to a high & modern standard with all new furniture and air conditioning/heating in most rooms, and includes all mod cons. On the ground floor there is a fully equiped kitchen (including electric immersion heater), lounge/diner with 2 sofas & large TV (many English channels), radio/CD player, and a downstairs bedroom (1 single bed). The TV has around 40+ English channels (including all the usual BBC & ITV stations), 6 Spanish channels, plus English & Spanish radio. On the first floor there is a large bathroom, twin bedroom with 2 single beds, master double bedroom with 1 large double bed and access onto a large sun terrace. A travel cot is available. On the top floor there is a large solarium/sun terrace with table & 4 chairs, & scenic views over the lakes. Both sun terraces are south facing. It has a large front garden requiring no maintenance. There is an entrance porch, & the patio area has comfortable garden furniture.

Beautiful Home From Home

Lovely home very clean and well maintained ..great customer service from Sandra also from Maria who hands over the keys she only lives nearby so should you need anything she's always available

We love this urbanisation and have been back over the years The village of Los Montesinos is only a 20min walk

Lots of great beaches nearby too La Mata being a big favourite of ours

I would highly recommend anyone to stay here

You really feel like you are in your own home with the added bonus of a swimming pool right on your doorstep

Get to the bodega for all your wine straight into the bottle and go to The lemon tree market on a sunday too for excellent fruit veg and cooked chickens

Very relaxing, lovely pool area. Recommend.

Spent three weeks at this lovely villa. Home from home. Maria that does the meet and greet very friendly and helpful. We have been coming to this area with the family since 2008. Very safe and family friendly. Whilst a car is not essential, it makes life easy as there is so much to see and do. Los Montesinos is a lovely relaxed, Spanish village about a 15 -20 minute stroll in the evenings. Local supermarket and a couple of bars about a 3 minute walk. Pool area really nice with a childrens section. We would stay at the villa again. Aircon in the upstairs bedrooms and living room. TV had a lot of english channels and sky. Would have no hesitation staying at this villa again.

A nice relaxing holiday

A comfortable, clean and well appointed property which helped to make

our holiday relaxing. Truly home from home - a lovely quiet area with

a sunroof which is private and gets the sun all day long.  No need to

travel very far if you are in need of a rest a pleasant walk to the

village of Los Montesinos gets you to shops and bars catering for all

your needs.  The local supermarket in Herrada approx 5 min walk from

the property is very well stocked with everything you will need for

your stay - their fresh meat and fish is excellent and the staff are

very helpful.

We hired cycles for the 2 weeks we stayed at the property and cycled

around the area every day - the cycle to Torreviejca is good along the

old railway track it takes you along the salt lakes in to the town -

the area is very cycle friendly, and coming from Yorkshire the 'hills'

are mere inclines!

We will definitely come back to this property it is ideal for those

who want a peaceful break enjoying the slower speed of life the

Spanish enjoy and it is ideal for those who want to use it as a base

for sight seeing in this region of Spain.

If like us you don't want to drive whilst on holiday the local coach

company, which is English owned, provides a wide variety of trips at

reasonable prices.

We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Home from Home

This villa was excellent it had everything you need to ensure you have a comfortable and homely holiday. The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. From the moment we entered the property we felt at home in a space that was comfortable and attractive. The pool facilities are a stones throw from the property and the pool is maintained on a daily basis. The service we received was excellent and we will definitely be going back to this property again.

The nearby supermarket is less than 5 minutes walk away and stocks a good selection of food - the fresh fish selection is amazing and the price of the food is very reasonable. The local curry house is well worth a visit particularly the buffet with a wide selection of quality dishes.

The nearby village of Los Montesinos is approx 25 minute walk away and has a selection of bars and eating places which cater for British and Spanish palates.

I would have no problem recommending this property to anyone who is looking for a restful break or a holiday where you require a comfortable base to travel to many of the other sights and attractions in the area.

This is a lovely property in a quiet residential area, perfect for that away from it all break. The house is very well equiped for 5 people with ample space to laze about when not at the pool, which is no more than 30 metres away. We had the pool to ourselves on many occasions during our stay. A very well stocked supermarket and a number of bars are within a 5 minute walk and the village of Los Montesinos is reachable in 20 mins on foot. However, if you wish to explore the surrounding area a ca r is necessary. We will no doubt be back.

Agréable maison

Maison certe loin du centre ville (précisé dans l'annonce) mais qui dispose de tous ce que nous avions besoins (clim, machine à laver, four, micro-onde, linge de maison ... ) une clim appréciable du fait de la chaleur, une maison propre. Une location conforme à la description de l'annonce.

Un quartier paisible, calme pour les familles qui désirent la tranquillité.

Une piscine bien entretenu.

Très bon accueille de Maria.

Nous reviendrons avec certitude du fait d'un séjour agréable.

Our villa is delightfully situated in a beautiful but quiet area of Los Montesinos with many beaches, shops, golf courses and other amenities closeby.

The Google map on our listing does not show the exact correct location of our property - look for 'La Herrrada' and we are here, slightly to the north of Los Montesinos town centre (2 mins drive).

Although we are located in a quiet area, you need only travel a short distance to reach the main larger local towns of Torrevieja, Guadamar and Orihuela. A large local supermarket, bars & shops are a 2 minute walk away. The nearest major coastal town is Torrevieja with its beaches, marina, long promenade & boardwalk, various bars & restaurants, tenpin bowling, fair, market stalls, Aqua park and shopping facilities means it is a popular place to visit and only 10 mins. drive.

Nearby is Ciudad Quesada from where you can book coach trips to many places of interest in the Costa Blanca area & historic towns/cities in Spain.

La Manga is a short drive away - visit the La Manga Resort Club and you are likely to see some sporting stars! The World Health Organisation have confirmed this area as one of the 2 most healthiest in the world and the famous salt lakes can be seen from the villa roof solarium. La Finca golf centre is 5 minutes down the road and there are many more courses within a 10 km radius. An Ideal location for a family, golfing or beach holiday.

Golf: The villa is ideally situated for access to numerous golf courses. La Finca where the Spanish Open was held is a 5 minute drive away. There are at least a further 10 courses within easy reach - all with in a 20 - 25 minutes drive. Selecting a different course each day for 2 weeks would not be a problem if you are on a society break.
